Hi all, I'm just wondering if anyone here (or knows of anyone that) only started doing the USMLE exams post graduation (ie. during intern year or beyond) and roughly how long would it take within reason to complete all 3 steps for someone that's not dead set on a specialty?

I am in final med now and am considering the states, which is obviously quite late to be thinking about it but I could never afford to sit the exams as a student and I am in the GEM program also so was struggling to cover the course material alone without studying for USMLE outside of that/preparing for interviews etc.

    Cheers!
