direct debit taken for cancelled account??

    Hi,
    I applied online to join eir but was not at home to collect the sim card in person so it was returned and the account was cancelled.
    I received an email saying the order was cancelled.
    To my surprise I was charged 18.89 direct debit from Eircom?
    Could someone sort this out for me please?
