David OMeara has a reputation for improving horses from another stable and i am hoping that BALLARD DOWN has benefitted from the switch to OMeara when he runs in the 3.10 at Newcastle.

BALLARD DOWN has never run over less than a mile but OMeara now drops him back a furlong at the age of 6 in a very hot handicap and that may be a good move, particularly if the pace is strong.The horse has had two good runs since joining OMeara and with the visor going back on he may be good enough at around 8/1.

OMeara may also win the 7.45 at Chelmsford with ZORAWAR who was unlucky 6 days ago when the waiting tactics may have been overdone when the horse was trying 10 furlongs for the first time.9/4 is the best price available and now that they know 10 furlongs is ok he need not be held up as long.

LICLASH is an ew bet in the 4 25 Punchestown,pp is paying 5 places and at 10/1 he is worth a bet,steps up in trip from last run and if seeing out the extra two furlongs will take beating and his rider taking off 7 lbs is a help.

OMearas 2 did not run well but LICLASH finished 5th at 10s and as i stated PP were paying 5 places and it shows the value of shopping Lads were 4 places and i would not be putting my hand out for 60 euro if i placed the bet with them.

Likewise with mine, only a few places paying 4 places and it went into 4-1 at the off, so the early bird makes a small profit.

Silva runs in the 4 15 at Meydan and won it's previous race by 10 lengths by 10 lengths.
The 2nd hor services in that race missed the break and was deemed to be unlucky and is odds on to win today.

However the French trained Silva caused a bit of a shock that day and might have some improvement in her over today's longer trip.
As she has beaten most of these out of sight last time and may well beat them again today

DRUMQUINA is given a chance in the 6 Oc Dundalk.
We got some decent prices this morning around 16 to 1 now.It is always tricky with first time out runners but Drumquina is thought to be useful.

DRUMQUINA did not live up to expectations at Dundalk having been well backed.

NOT THAT FUISSE is a horse i like very much,was well beaten by Al Dancer when 2nd but that horse is special and now that Kempton has dried out (good ground is what he wants) NOT THAT FUISSE will take all the beating in the 1.15.

PP and others go 4 places and i will have a good bet ew on the horse and make it the days best bet.

Led after the last and just run out of it,the ground went good to soft and this fellow wants it good so will keep backing the horse when conditions are right.
