Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I can’t month end in work next week.

The first 2 weeks of the month are a write off for me :(

And I was dying to play after the last game.

Bank holiday season on the horizon too...

Had to laugh, my sons hurling team were playing in St. Annes PArk on Saturday & on the drive over he spotted christmas decorations still up at one house, then afterwards as the teams shook hands (they form 2 lines & walk past each other so they all shake hands) the opposition all wished our lads a merry christmas!!! Bizarre!!

    The Christmas Cupboard!

Got a good laugh out of that last night! Is it only 41 weeks to Christmas?

Think someone will have to explain it to me

I totally overlooked your puzzled expression in your last post ( a combination of multitasking and filtering!). There was a gas scene in last nights Derry Girls where they raided the Christmas cupboard! It brought back some memories of me raiding the “press” in my Grannies! :)

Yes it was on Derry Girls last night!

Was actually flicking through the channels last night with the better half to find something to watch and saw this however as the series had already started we decided to box set it from the start.

    Ditto.
All my friends have been raving about it so we're going to sit down & watch it from the start.

As soon as we get a chance!

Tell me about. The two of us getting to sit down together at the same time, without one of us half asleep is so rare we didn't know what to do!

Did nothing for Paddy's day, it was a downer. My OH, wee one, and Mother in law were meant to fly home this morning but the passport is not available, the embassy here, although meant to be open decided not to answer their phone at all and went on the piss. We wonder why we are a laughing stock sometimes. So had to shell out to change the flights. Lets hope they are not too hungover to open today.

We were talking about Chrimbo last night, when do kids 'get' Santy?

Yes it was on Derry Girls last night!

So watched all series 1 and the first two episodes of series 2 over the weekend. Very very funny. The Christmas cupboard was brilliant. The mum saying about Christmas being only around the corner and the Dad saying it was 8 months away made me laugh even more.
