Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Good work, FP!

Now get something sensible and practical with your winnings, like €50 worth of scratchers. :pac:

Wearing Christmas socks today. They’ll probably be soaked by the time I get to work but I have a spare pair of Christmas socks in my bag.

In other news, this day 8 years ago M&S had their Christmas decorations up.

The is hard core Christmas right there, not one but two pairs on the go!

Luckily that was the early days of social media or there would have faced a backlash and probably had to take them down :(

Ah I knew Aldi & Lidl had them on sale already but seeing them in Tesco or Dunnes, who traditionally start selling them later, is another step closer to the most wonderful time of the year :D

My local Tesco carried frozen party food for the whole year maybe they'll get a few new bits in soon.

Just back from the weekly grocery shop in Dunnes & they have their mince pies & christmas slices out, so that's them & Tesco meaning pretty much all the grocery store chains are up & running in earnest. FTR I did resist the temptation to pick up some mince pies, I've decided to stick to my tradition of waiting until December 1st # for them.

We normally wait until the 1st of November for mince pies.
    When the barnbracks are gone.

I did that last year and my weighing scales didn't thank me for it. Trying to get back on track after a lazy couple of months so just using my old tradition as an excuse really.

Do love a barnbrack too... any fruit based cake/breads/scoes do it for me to be fair.

Did you buy them freshpopcorn? If so does it say if they're vegetarian friendly? I love chocolate marshmallows! :)

I didn't buy them but if you zoom in on the ingredients I don't think they are vegetarian friendly!
