Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Happy 1st of October everyone, here we are last month for many of us without Christmas Decorations up and the last month "out of season" just get through Halloween now and we are laughing!

But more importantly, happy birthday month to me. Here's to a whole month of milking the one day that's all about me. :D

We were in Penneys at the weekend and even though I'd read about the Penneys Christmas stock on here, I audibly gasped when I saw it.

I promised my friends on FB I wouldn't post about Christmas until Novmber 1st.

    Dear God help me.

Also was in M&S in Blanch at the weekend, they had quite a bit of Chistmas stuff in. Tins of shortbread half price, fancy looking spicy tea, all that good stuff!!!

Baby and crumble, I broke the duck yesterday whilst on a flying visit to Muscat. We meet every year in the same spot (last year was an f-up as I left someone to arrange the table...terrible idea) at the same time on the 23rd of Dec. I make a facebook event usually the 23 June. This year as I will not be home for it so I left it off till I was bored in the airport yesterday. Loads of the usual suspects have accepted and dived in with Christmas spirit. Only one has noticed, messaged me privately, that the venue has changed to a pub in the middle east.

Talking about mince pies, if any of you guys are in Dublin for the run up and you can get to The Cupcake Bloke on Coppinger Row or the shop in Crumlin (I believe) then make sure you get their mince pie brownie. It's a really nice chocolate fudge brownie topped with mincepie filling that's baked into the brownie so it goes all luscious and sweet and sticky.

    It's INCREDIBLE.

Took the Christmas Decorations out from the back of the press today. I have them just sitting inside the door now. Had to get A4 paper for my printer. Anyway dusted off a few of the decorations that were loose in the bag.

Oh my... His new shop (it's in Rialto) is just down the road from where I work. I predict a lot of these being demolished in December...

It was very dark when we got up this morning, Christmas like. My OH asked me as we were getting ready if, as a child, I had ever woken up thinking it was Christmas morning and being disappointed that it wasn't. She was amazed that I hadn't as I'm the Christmas nut. Any of you guys have a memory like that.

Yes, one year my older brothers told me it was Christmas Eve and that I needed to go to bed early and when I woke i was very disappointed to learn that there was another week to go.

M&S has opened its Christmas food ordering, and this day in 2011 they had their Christmas decorations up in store. (Thank you Facebook memories!)
