Hi, I've been doing some research online & have been weighing up the options between a few different tvs. I've found a Toshiba 55U5766DB 55" 4K Ultra HD LED Smart TV with Freeview HD and Freeview Play on laptopsdirect.ie for €503.97 inc delivery to Limerick Ireland.

Firstly I'm just wondering what the difference is between this & the TOSHIBA 55U6763 that's on your website ? Secondly is this tv comparable to SONY BRAVIA KD55XE7073 which is also on your website (but currently unavailable for online purchase), as in are there any notable differences or features that would warrant the additional cost ? I will only be using the tv for regular non HD tv, netflix & dvd (no blu-ray) playback.

I'm price sensitive & would like to get a quote from you, including delivery to Limerick (Rep of Ireland) for the TOSHIBA 55U6763, the SONY
DVPSR760 dvd player (I can get this for €35 inc free delivery on Amazon) & the TTAP
    ELEGANCE 1200 tv rack.

If you could quote in both euro & sterling I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Or if there is another affordable 55 inch smart tv you would recommend for my needs, please feel free to advise. Thanks

    Tadhgc,

thanks for the post - we only stock the Tosh 55U6763 and I'm not familiar with the other model to be honest so it would be unfair to comment.

In terms of comparison between the Toshiba 55U6763 and the Sony KD55XE7073 - the bad news is that they don't! The Tosh is a good entry level TV but the Sony is in a different league ( unfortunately we are out of stock of the 7073 at the moment)

If you wanted a really excellent branded 55" that I'd really recommend without breaking the bank do look at the LG 55UJ630 - this is a 4K TV with really slim bezel - about the best operating system around and HD Satellite tuner built in - we can do that for you on a Boardie deal at just £529 / €619:

Thanks again and keep us posted,
