When I was in school I got detention for being a little ****. When sitting in the room I said, in my finest Jamaican accent, “you can feel the tension in the room”. The teacher laughed and so did I.

I think Nigel has taken too many chair shots to the head over the years.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the following match is scheduled for one fall and is your opening bout of the evening...."

Fireworks explode on stage, as the camera cuts to the backstage area, focusing on a door. A security guard knocks on the door.

    “It’s time!”

The door opens, and the camera cuts to show a man emerge. Bald and in black trucks, he walks through the halls. The crowd chant his name, for he is one of legend. A name said over and over, droning monotonously, but with a level of adoration for the legend He shadow punches the walls, stretching his muscles. Some people jump out of the way of the man and his entourage, not wanting to be his next victim. In the arena, a small amount of pyro shoots off, as the crowds chants grow louder.

    G.....

Gillberg the legendary jobber, poses for the crowd.

Unfortunately, scared by the dangers of small sparklers, two men run towards him and blast him in the face with fire extinguishers. Gillberg, in a fit of panic, tries to kick one of them, but instead falls backwards. He hits his head hard, and falls unconscious.

Medics come to escort him away. But the crowd loved him so much, they continue to cheer and chant his name. Sure, Gillberg may have been the greatest loser in the history of the WWF. But that doesn’t mean he cannot make an impact.

Nigel WW has been eliminated from the competition.

    ======

Mod Note: This is the one and only character whose identity will be revealed by the mods.

A hidden power has been triggered.

(Next Action will be tomorrow's Munch. There will be no further mod posts on this elimination. See you all tomorrow morning.)

Well that doesn’t matter anymore now. He was a goodie. But just nuts. Even thou he was a goodie I think this is good news for the village he won’t be distracting the village from the actual wolves.

To clarify, Gillberg was one of the hidden Team WWF Roles. The effects of Gillberg's loss will become clear in time :)

Do we know for sure he was good? I'm confused there. Yeah he seems to be WWE, but as Abigail said, it's possible it could trigger an action with Goldberg.

Whatever he was, he was not helpful to the village IMO.

FFS why say you’d posted when you hadn’t fcuking posted.

Agreed regardless he was no use to the village. A complete distraction.

So, we'll know the person who gets lynched / munched, but not their role. I'm hoping we'll at least know what team they're on

Ok, thanks, all I'm looking for is some clarity here (having already read back over those posts from earlier today) and Nigel isn't really offering that.

I missed Barbara's role claim, any chance you know where that resides?

Just seen LordTSC's post about Gillberg being a hidden WWE character after I made my last one.

Oh well, we lost a villager, but at no point today was he a help to us. If someone can show me otherwise (if we need to spend time on that) I'll gladly change my opinion...slightly, but he offered nothing but crazy distraction today while we tried to suss out the actual wolves.

He brought the lynch on himself and seemed to be deliberately vague and even confusing when asked for clarification. Which says to me that maybe it was all intentional on Nigel's part, in order to activate whatever this power is.

So...Despite a lot of jibberish and distraction today, Nigel's true effectiveness has yet to be revealed depending on what this activated power is.

    Are we getting the votes?

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 2,307 ✭✭✭Riona WW

Mods, maybe I missed it being addressed elsewhere, but do we get to see the voting patterns from the lynch? As in 'who voted for who'?

To be honest, the summary could wildly differ depending on who writes it for you. I think there is at least one clear agenda at play so far.

I'm not going to do a summary, because I'm sure I missed stuff myself, but if you look back through my posts from today (there's only about 10) there's a summary of why I think there were wolves posting in-thread pre-munch this morning. The handful of names who were posting during that time this morning is in the same post.

In my posts from today, you'll also see me defending against why a few other posters think my very first post in this thread was suspicious. Have a look at that if you wish since it got a few people talking and I was on a few posters' FFAs.

Was it the trade off for knowing Nigel’s role?

Hey mods, if we don’t find out role tomorrow does that mean we have our lynch results back?

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,047 ✭✭✭Steve WW

    Dammit

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,361 ✭✭✭Gertrude WW

With vote results being kept in the dark, WCW have the advantage, as they can always have 3 votes in the bank for any lynch. Doing FFA's and sticking to the results may be our best bet to overcome this.

Yeah this is very bad for the village as all wolves can vote together and not worry about being caught out.

Hmm, would've been handy to know that before we voted for that lynch. We'll have to announce who we're voting for on thread then. Although what will that even do?

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,202 ✭✭✭Jake WW

Do we know if wolves can communicate? If we don't have vote tallies that would be a +5 every vote.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,818 ✭✭✭Phil WW

I'm assuming each team has their own chat room, but they're also competing against each other, so they wouldn't have a combined chat room. Worst case scenario, come lynch time, WCW could combine 3 votes, and ECW could combine 2, but they couldn't intentionally combine all 5

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,295 ✭✭✭Gabriel WW

How about we all publicly state who we voted for? Maybe we could keep track of them or something. I know people could lie, but might help catch people out or something.
