    Hi,

I got FTTH 3 weeks ago.  Speeds are 1.2Mbps - not not a mistake 1Mb... the hamster runs quicker.

I've logged several faults, but I have not reiceved one response from the Eir team.
I contacted tech support they advise to run a speed test 1.2Mbs over the Wireless 2.4Ghz network.  the 5Ghz network is fine and over Ethernet also works ok.

The modem is also broadcasting another Eir Guest network - Can you please disable this.

I have an issue with the Modem that is not longer accepted the Admin password, I reset the modem and it took the password but only after about 10mins, then once I logged out it stopped working again.

    I have a F2000 modem.

If the issue is not resloved before COB monday 27th Nov, this is notice to cancel my contract.  I have tried multiple times to get customer service  on the phone, but as I am not home until after 6pm, it is not possible to troublshoot during the opneing hours of 9-6 monday - friday.

I will not be formating any more devices, as clearly this is not a devic related issue.

I have proivded my account number via PM to Adam.

    Regards

madyoke2009 When you say the 2.4Ghz is not working on the new modem - can you see the 2.4Ghz SSID in your list of wireless networks.
If so - can you connect to it - if you can can you verify your device is getting served an IP address.
If it is the same issue as before and you are only getting 1.2Mb of throughput and both 5Ghz and wired connections have no problems  then you may have something in the home causing interference on the 2.4ghz band. Unlikely to have 2 modems with the same fault unless the serial no. on the modems are close to each other - may be a fulty batch.

Thanks. We have tested another modem Non Eir modem and the 2.4ghz is working fine. When I plug the Eir modem in the internet speed is 1mb

I spoke to Aanither tech support agent who advised he is aware of an issue with the 2.4ghz. He has sent out multiple replacements to multiple customers all experiencing the same issue. Eir are aware there is an issue and it is on multiple forums

Eir couldn’t be bothered fixing it.

Paying for FTTH but only receiving approx 500Mb.  I've logged four faults with Eir, I have heard nothing back.

How can I get an update for the faults that are logged.
Is there someone who can check the line

    Hi there,

I'm sorry to hear you are still experiencing issues with your service, I understand this is frustrating.

The support team would need to investigate this for you on 1890 260 260. They can also update you on the cases you have opened with them.

    Thanks

    Tracey
