Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It will, there's a lot of interest in this one. You can be sure the so called big boys will be keeping a close eye on things too and add to the pump.

The cynic in me would think that anyone who thinks they'll be part of a pump tomorrow are the ones getting played.

What do you think will actually happen tomorrow? Genuine question

    Or make a tidy profit.
Gut tells me this will be a pump and dump, can see lots getting held holding suitcases.

Will just keep an eye on it up to 1.30pm tomorrow. This "coordinated pump" will hardly happen at the same time. Loads will be getting in early in the morning and I suppose it will be steadily rising up to then. The key will will be knowing when to sell I guess.

When it drops, any idea how low it will go?

Apparently so yeah. I bought some already at 37cent which I know is pretty high but it would be a shame to have a delay on being allowed to buy them when the anticipated madness begins. If you can stomach reading through it, reddit have some more info about it.

Thats what i feel its worth considering past values and the outstanding uncertainties around its future.
It could easily go down below 10c in the near future.

Of course it could, but with regards to this pump and dump tommorow, it's not going to drop between now and then.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,649 ✭✭✭Whelo79

Christ it's 2017 all over again with the pump and dumps. I guarantee you the people planning on dumping have already bought huge amounts and they are waiting on the suckers to pump it higher at whatever the designated 'start' time is before they unload all over them.

Avoid like the plague or if you insist on getting in take a small profit and get out early before you are left holding dirt.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,138 ✭✭✭endainoz

    Tomorrow will be interesting anyway!

This time it is a bit different than the Pump n Dump groups (although they are now also involved)
There's an existing group of longterm xrp holders who decided to start a petition against SEC getting involved & crashing the price.

The price right now should be somewhere between 80c to $1 if sec hadn't interfered & the original group decided to try and pump it back to that price. It would then take off if they are successful in fighting the lawsuit (which they believe will happen)

There's a lot who will hold and try to keep the price back where they think it should be i.e. the original 28k members of the group plus many longterm holders who believe in the project and have decided to support the pump.

Then there's the ones who will be there to try and make a quick buck & there's the shorts who are ****ting bricks and trying to play down the hype.

Whatever happens it will be entertaining and a lesson to be learnt either way. Good luck

edit: I'd cover my short position or else dont check it for a few weeks ;-)

Good SEC news or not on monday, the recent rise is definitely a lot of smart people and sharks loading up to dump on any schmucks dumb enough to actually go through start-time pump tomorrow.

If some of these are the same folks as WSB, then they've just lost all moral high-ground - killed it stone dead. XRP bagholders started a petition? Of course they bloody did - they want their bags to be worth something! How about they tackle Ripple about the periodic dumping they engaged in and the ocean of coins they hold back all the while? If it wasn't for that, the project might have had some merit. If it wasn't for that, XRP wouldn't have been no.1 on the SEC hitlist.

XRP up to 46c at the minute and climbing fairly steadily so plenty of pumping still going on. Hit 49c earlier and pulled back.

If you are sure there is gain to be made between now and the next few hours, go ahead. May do well but its not for me.

It's broken 0.50c, up to 52c at the moment. 57c is the highest it's been in the past year. It'll be past that by 10am if it keeps rising at this rate.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,830 ✭✭✭masterboy123

It's at €0.56 per coin now.
    Should I hold or sell?

Your call, take profit while you can or hold out if you can afford to loose everything..

in a situation like this when one is undecided, it might be a good idea to sell some, say 25%

If it goes up you are still making money, if it drops then you took some profits

This is the coordinated buy. In pump and dumps, the dumps usually start a nano-second after the "buy" time. But then again we can't calculate how many uninformed and new people are out there who may think this is some WSB thing. It's going to be messy either way.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,601 ✭✭✭thecomedian

    I’m up a massive €42 🙂
I sold my cost there now, only bought €40 worth of it 2 weeks ago as a cheap crypto increase it went up in future

The plan is a further pump from the US. But a lot of them could take profit instead. Who knows.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 429 ✭✭Blowheads

130 Dublin time. They all supposed to start buying then.
They have a voice chat ongoing but nobody saying anything.
It's rising slightly now 70.88 cents
I'd be ready with your fingers on the triggers and charts come lunch time
