This year we're gonna offer a couple of prizes - €50 One4All voucher for the winner and €25 One4All voucher for whoever gets the most bonus points throughout the tourney. To ensure these prizes go to our regulars only those who took part in this last year or have posted on the forum this year (up to midnight last night) will be eligible for prizes. Newcomers are more than welcome to play along though!
A couple of small changes from last year to reflect the strength in depth of this year's field...
Teams to consist of eight players - one each from groups A,B,C, two from D and E and one from group F below. You must select a captain who will score double points in each match he plays but beware ... minus points will also be doubled ! The captain cannot be changed and cannot be from groups A or B (top 8 seeds). If no valid captain is selected the spot will default to your group C choice.
Scoring will be by leg difference with a 5 points bonus for a match win. 180 = 1 point.
e.g. a 3-1 win (3-0,0-3,3-2,3-2) with 1x180 = 8pts (2pts legs +5pts win bonus + 1pt 180). The same 3-1 loss with 1x 180 = -1pt (-2pts legs + 1pt 180)
A 9 dart finish will earn an additional 20 points for your player. 170 checkout gets you 10 points.
When you submit your team please also select your Prelim and Round One bonus choices (details below)

Just to get this out of the way real quick - I'm putting up the prizes and it shouldn't be seen as a Boards-sponsored competition. As you regs know the comp runs every year and I'm in the happy position of being able to throw a few bob in this time around.
