Before I can in an engineer, is there a quick fix ?
    Checked backup battery, it's fine.(12v\7ah)
    Replaced all wireless sensor batteries.
I don't have the engineers code.
    No open zones

    Won't arm
Keeps coming up system faults,Pd low battery

    TIA

    Good one

Pd low battery is a wire free sensor battery.

Replaced all the batteries in the wireless sensors and double checked the batteries were the right way round
When you do that does the alarm reset the fault automatically or does it have to be reset manually

    Thanks

Do you have any wireless PIR's?

I don't think I have any wireless PIR's , I assumed the only wireless sensors were on the sensors on the doors.
All the rooms have PIR's which which I assumed were wired.I'll have to check

Can the alarm be soft reset?

On the keypad, after I enter my unset code , it wont let me arm or go into system settings, it just comes up System Faults Pd low battery.

Should I just bite the bullet and get an engineer to look at it ?

My only issue about the engineer route apart from cost, is he is unreliable (time wise). Could be waiting weeks.

Am i stuck with using the guy that installed it?

thanks again for all the help

If you look in your user log you should be able to see which one has the low battery.
These systems are easily defaulted and set back up so your not just stuck with the original installer.
