Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Remember him?
The most German Brazilian around. Ruined many school nights for me against United in the CL. Great striker. Your thoughts on Elber as a player and/or memories?

Him, Bobic and Balakov at Stuttgart were fantastic.

One of my fav players of the 90s

Ah yes, the era when Elber, Jardel and Makaay terrorised defences and made teams like Deportivo and Porto flirt around the top table of European football.

I used to buy him quite often in championship manager saves expecting him to score 40 every year, he never produced :(

I still have his number 9 shirt and still wear it for 5 a side on occasion. Great attitude and immensely popular. Played with Stuttgart for a few years but would be considered a Bayern legend I think.
