We have recently switched to Electric Ireland (GAS) for the Nest Thermostat and are about to arrange the installation.

Our Gas boiler is a Baxi Duo Tec Combi 33 HE, and the manufacturer has stated that it is compatible with the Nest thermostat.

Our existing thermostat is a Siemens Landis Staefa Rev 100.

I would expect our thermostat will be disconnected , removed and replaced with the Nest.
Would you confirm if this is the case please?

Also, can the cost of the Nest be paid back via the bi-monthly billing payments ??
