    Glad you all got sorted with your revised dates for Dispatcher! 204 for 17 jobs though. Oof. Tough competition! I'm also curious to know possible start date. This side of Christmas? Looking to book a hollybob week in the sun Oct/Nov but if there's a whisker of a chance of me getting through.....

    To date 33 people have been promoted internally (17 in April & 16 last week) The trawl for the internal process was mid August last year so it has been a long wait internally too. If you book a holiday they will 100% honour it as long as you can prove it was booked before you were offered the post.

    I'd only do nights tbh, i don't have the brass balls to work days in a Northern Ireland Prison.

    Remember keep dates and times tight until after all are concluded. If you got the email you know the date of the final round of interviews. All about that persec.

    Anywho picked up the suit from the dry cleaners today and the shirt will be getting ironed tonight.

    Still waiting for an update on the ASO position! There was an email last week from grafton to say all information had been passed to the psni and they had no further involvement... I hate all the waiting!!!

    Are the interviews for the other position this month? Hope all the prep is going well!

    For anyone who is considering prison service I should have hold of the actual pay scales shortly.

    The Prison service pay is appalling by all accounts considering the risk.
    I've ruled myself out of the dispatcher following interview. I did not do well and left feeling terrible. In for Fire Service controller which is another tough process but nothing ventured nothing gained!
