So is the forum being opened to the masses for the World Cup?

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

No idea, mods were supposed to make a decision on it as it was one of the points in the feedback thread

Anyone else think the Nigeria kit is horrible looking? Everyone seems to be going on like it’s the best kit ever made.

Suits a Nigerian but not an Irish person

    Much obliged.

    Sticky up now

So what if there was. The best and most appropriate and infrastructure ready bid won. That's the point the poster was making. I doubt many bribes were required to ensure that they got it.

There is a huge difference between Qatar' s victory and this one.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,306 ✭✭✭✭Drumpot

I would love it if fifa appointed this guy as ref for the game today . .

Imagine Putin eventually copping it that FIFA was trolling him . .

Ya and Will Smith, two prime examples as to why I'll be tuning in at in at 3.59pm, no earlier.

Anybody have a link to a printable world cup wallchart? A4 if possible.

I already have a nice glossy colour wallchart, but want to print a couple so my son and I can go head to head on the result predictions each day.

Bloody hell, I didn't realise they were playing the two big lads up front. The Saudis have no chance.

One half of Monday Night Football on the ITV panel. Whether it's the better half is for you to decide.

Why on earth would you think that? It’s never been anything else.

Saudi defender just falling on the ground for no reason for the Russian goal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,400 ✭✭✭GiftofGab

Russian player mile offside for that attempt. Assistant needs to see that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,775 ✭✭✭✭Gbear

Well I've managed to get Saudi in the pool I'm doing.

On the other hand I've also got Brazil, Portugal and Senegal.

Hopefully the Saudis pick it up. We're going on points and it's often the small margins of your **** teams picking up a point here or there that swing it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,775 ✭✭✭✭Gbear

They're playing some nice stuff here. Lot of positive play from them. A bit hapless at the back maybe.

Yeah, but normally they at least make an attempt to sweep it under the carpet so that they hope we don't notice :pac:

Russia have dropped back since scoring. Poor stuff on show. Golovin is a good player for Russia but find it hard to find much else.
