Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

F*ck sake England are actually going to win this poxy thing

Why? Why can''t they be beaten by a "lesser" side as well?

This **** with the refs delaying so many corners and frees to warn people not to be fouling is ridiculous.

Just let them foul and punish them

This games going away from Belgium very quickly. Japan more the most likely of the two to score again at the moment.

This is fcking n brilliant, the Japs are fantastic

Sure you didn't mean anything by it, but Japs is a derogatory term for the Japanese, that they particularly dislike.

Terrible by big Rom, needs to get that on target

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,611 ✭✭✭✭ERG89

    Bad miss there.
Martinez & the attitude of the Belgians is a dangerous mix.

Martinez hasn't got a clue, playing him so far back. A waste of materials.

It's insane playing De Bruyne in a pivot

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,405 ✭✭✭Lukker-

The 343 has no balance, Carrasco isn't a wing back. Holes all over the place.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,019 ✭✭✭✭adox

    A fluke I think.

Cmon to f*ck Belgium about time

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,405 ✭✭✭Lukker-

Great cross and that's why you bring on Fellaini. Japan aren't the biggest so I'd be swinging in balls to Lukaku and Fellaini left and right.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,019 ✭✭✭✭adox

Lukaku to score the winner now you’d think.

Japan have been as impressive as Belgium have been sh1t.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,014 ✭✭✭✭Corholio

Japan need to regroup and keep it tight for a while now. Hope they can grab a third.

Can't wait to see how Martinez tweaks his tactics to turn this around...........

    That’s gotta sting!

Who would have thought that bringing on a big lump with excellent heading ability, would cause trouble to those little Japanese fellas?

    :D

Makes you wonder why he was not on from the start?

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,019 ✭✭✭✭adox

Belgium really over complicating it here. Get the ball wide. Cross it in to the box.

They will win the game that way.

The Japanese goalie looks like one of those mad bastard soldiers you see depicted in WW2 movies.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,043 ✭✭✭Hitchens

    Japan are quite nippy

It is a good job you didn't say only for the numbers they all look the same.....

    Poor attempt from Lukaku.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,405 ✭✭✭Lukker-

Lukaku should have done better, missed a few good oppurtunies

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,842 ✭✭✭crushproof

Lukaku had the whole goal there! Open header!!

RTE commentary is so bad. Why do they always berate the favorites, especially, when they are losing, and over criticize every little thing they do and then over exaggerate the performance of the underdogs. You can hear them willing Japan on to score here?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 610 ✭✭✭Sprinter Sacre

De Bruyne is knackered from the heat. He can barely run. He'd want to do something here as he has no hope of surviving in Qatar in 4 years.

F*ck sake England are actually going to win this poxy thing

So you think it would be better if the teams who struggle against the weaker sides would do better against England than those that have shown they can beat the bigger teams?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 898 ✭✭✭Schwanz

Brazil win this WC with ease.

Plus they see a feud between Hazard and DeBryne

Japan need to win this in 90 mins. They look fairly tired.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,842 ✭✭✭crushproof

Looking at another extra time here. Poor show by Belgium, can see Japan grabbing it. They seem have more in their engine.

Yes, class is permanent...or at least longer lasting than a weaker team just giving their all in this once game.

That was excellent goal. That dummy by Lukaku..........

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,302 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

    Excellent counter attack.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,996 ✭✭✭FourFourRED

That looked very likely. Japan looked very fatigued after 70 mins.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 610 ✭✭✭Sprinter Sacre

Chadli and Fellaini the game changers absolute LOL

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,019 ✭✭✭✭adox

Brilliant winner to be fair. Didn’t see them pulling this around.

    Hope they stuff the Brazilians.

About the best thing Lukaku did all night was leave that ball for Chadli. Superb counter though

It was a beautiful dummy though.
