Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not strange at all. It was a clear red although it wasn't intentional. The two are not exclusive and anyone but the simple minded can see that.

It doesn't have to be obvious that he was going to score it has to be obvious that he will have an opportunity to score which he obviously did.

If it simply has to be 'obvious he'll have an opportunity to score', then any trip from 20 yards out when a player tries to shoot could be a red.

Why would they risk an extra game ban for frivolous appeal?

A player through on the keeper 1v1 with the next nearest player twenty yards behind is a bit different no?

Let's at least be honest about it. He wasn't through on goal and Bellerin was a lot closer than 20 yards away. The line in the picture below shows the direction of the ball.

Bellerin was definitely going to get between Lukaku and the goal.

If Bellerin couldn't make up that distance he should retire tbh.

He'd quite easily get over to Lukaku there.

Are people forgetting it was Lukaku? He was never going to score.

I agree. Let's not lose the point of this thread. To talk about the big points of the game. So let's finish on the biggest talking point.

Forgot the scoreline: Arsenal 1 - Man Utd 3

A photo after the foul is complete dishonesty. The question is had he not been fouled would he have been caught. The only reason Bellerin had potentially caught up was BECAUSE Lukaku was fouled.

And he was over 15 yards away.

Show a still image just before the foul happened to see how close he was and be honest about the debate.
