Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Watching MOTD2 at the moment on BBC1 and they are having the vote for Goal Of The Month for November. I have to say that the goals I've seen are by far the greatest panel of options for GOTM in the history of MOTD. Rooney, Vardy, Salah, Shaqiri and virtually all of the others are goals that could be goal of the month in a normal month.

Is it an amazing coincidence or are PL players scoring better goals now?

BTW: Rooney for the win, surely!!

They even showed the goals that would normally have made the panel at the end of the show - definitely a vintage month!

As expected, Rooney got the nod!!

I call "No Fairsy"!! Obviously, there are HUNDREDS of matches in December so that doesn't count as an ordinary month! Obviously!

Am I the only one that thinks Rooneys goal wasn’t the best?

Hard to argue with the technique and skill it took but there were some crackers in there.

I thought Vardy's finish was unreal... Exceptionally hard to connect right to that

Surprised Salah came second... Wouldn't have put it as one of stronger ones of the month despite it being a cracking finish

People lose their s*it over any sort of goal from your own half. But without a goal keeper there, it's wasn't all that difficult.

I think it was more the actual technique and pleasing trajectory the ball took(just over defenders heads) that made it look better than it was.

I don't think Rooney's was that good and ive never been impressed with goals from the half way line off the ground. Its generally the goal is open or the keeper was caught on the hop. I'd expect most pro football players to be able to strike the ball towards goal from the half way line.

Essien or Scholes for me. Scholes if you put a gun to my head, and I'm a Liverpool fan.

Taylor's effort was some hit too.

These Goal of the Month/Season entries usually annoy me as they are focused on the player who scores rather than a team effort. Salah's volley is very nice but either of the counter attack goals on Saturday featuring 3/4 players combining superbly to create the goal are much better for my money.
