I feel happy now to have already played my FH earlier in the season, as I managed 117pts in GW 31 without a FH and it now looks like I won't need it in GW35 either.

I'll have 29 players in GW37, Salah being the SGW player - BB for me.

TC in 34, FH in 35.

I’m leaning toward TC in 34 now too and B.B. in37
    But TC who ???

Just feel Kane in 37is better than Lukaku in 34

    Do you have your FH?

If not you will get destroyed in GW35 with that plan. At best you would have Salah, 3 Burnley and 2FTs. Liverpool, City and Arsenal have excellent GW35 fixtures an you will have a max of 3 (unless you take hits - which sort of negates your BB to be honest)

I'm also not sure there are 14 players I'd want who have doubles in GW34, as three of the teams have a cup semi straight after.

Have FH for 35 and no problem taking a hit for 37, will be hard to build a dgw for 37 though.
    Currently
    DDG,Ryan,
    Mee, Azpi, Tarkowski, Davies, Morgan,
    Willian, Mahrez, Salah, Kennedy,Son
Barnes, Augbamarang(will bring in Vardy for dgw), Lukaku

    Firmly
If mahrez had a better first fixture I'd chance him but Can only see a blank away to burnley

I know Kane always starts the season slowly, but from memory doesnt he have a similar poor record when returning from injury?

    Yes
If he isn't back by 35 I'm hit getting him back

My 3 contenders are Lukaku, Vardy and Salah.
I could also TC Salah in any of his games except 35(FH) and 37(BB).

    Lukaku(WBA,bou) edges Vardy(bur,SOT) for me.

There's a lot more to be made from a successful BB than a TC. TC is only 3 x your captain instead of 2 x

    WC is active.
    TC 34
    BB 37

If I still had FH it would be 34 or 35 depending.

I feel there could be massive potential in TC salah as it's one of the few weeks he won't be widely captained
I keep getting drawn back to him
Switching BB to 37 now anyway
Happy to go with 3 pool home to BOU in 34 as well
Will keep Stanislas all the same
    Have chilwell and mahrez
    2FT this week
    Getting DDG for sure
    Probably Tarowski
And then the tough call between Auba and Lukaku

Will wait a week so see if Chris wood starts for burnley before moving Wilson on for him

    I don't have all 3 but if I did I think I'd do:

    BB 34
    FH 35
    TC 37

    My planned transfers are:
    Hennessey > DDG
    Bauer > Monreal
    Francis > Otamendi
    Mane > Dilva
Firmino > Gayle to finance those moves.

Dunk > Rudiger, if Rudiger can get his place back else I'll hold.

If Kane dropped 0.3 I could do Mane > Dilva and Firmino > Kane but then I can't afford to upgrade my defence to DGW37 players.

What is your current team. I'd be looking at FH 34 wildcard 36 and TC 37 with BB in a sgw but it depends on your current team and your ability to get out a strong team in 35.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,510 ✭✭✭✭CSF

Burnley seem a cheap saviour for those without the Free Hit, who would like that couple of extra DGW players while also fielding a team in 35.

You only have 5 current players for gw 35 so not sure what I was suggesting is best for you. You currently have 6 dgw players and 3 transfers so you could get to 9 dgw 34 players without a hit. You could TC 34 , FH 35 , wildcard 36 and BB 37.

Is it mad to not look at BB in a DGW, cannot see me getting rid of Salah so that's at least one non DGW person in there

Maybe FH in 34 then TC in 37

I think BB in a sgw is a very viable strategy. You may not get quite as much BB points as someone that goes with a dgw. But chances are they will lose points other weeks by having to limit themselves to only half the teams in the league. You also then get to pick TC for what you think is the more favourable week.

My head is fried with all these permutation regards doubles and blanks!

I've already activated my WC and have TC and BB to play.

I've drafted a prelim squad but have no idea if it's any good, some feedback would be appreciated...

    Karius, Pope

    Tarkowski, Morgan, Tomkins, Alonso, Mustafi

    Mkhi, Salah, Mahrez, Son, Kenedy

    Auba, Lukaku, Barnes

That leaves me with 8 for the DGW in 34, 10 for the skinny GW 35 and 12 for the DGW in 37

Potentially Lukaku TC in 34 and BB in 37, thoughts?

    Edit : only 9 for 35 as I can't play my two GK's.

Dumping Salah for GW37 has definite merit

Only if you have 15 DGW players, four of which are likely crap!

That Kane TC in 37 is screaming to me

Some news on a definite return date would help matters
If he is only back for 37 I'm not getting hi
For 35 then yes and TC a live option
    Need news before next weekend
Going to have to swallow another .1 loss in meantime more than likely before I decide who he goes for

Looks solid to me, alot of similar players to me at the mo. In fact our back lines are identical minus Alonso for Christensen.

The main thing that stands out is a lack of United cleanies, I think that will really hurt you and is a must have in any wc team.

I would consider willian in for micki maybe and use the funds for ddg for karius (prob need some more funds from elsewhere). Willian serious value at the mo. You don't need 2 gw35 keepers. Maybe too much invested in gk then but I do feel a united cleany is s must and ddg is the best way in

Only chip I’ve got left is BB and had my team stocked to play it in 34.

Now I’ve a bit of a decision to make - is it worth playing for McTominay and Simpsons DGWs and Fabianski and Naughton home to Everton in a SGW?

Not particularly appealing but I dont think Im gonna be able to hold a team together for 35 and get a better 15 out for 37. I reckon the top 4 will be done by then so might be hard to get a good DGW 15 out anyway.

I have a wildcard active and all chips and this is what I am thinking of doing.

I prefer to do BB in 34 as the potential for rotation in 37 scares me. Remember chelsea in gw37 last year v watford.

But there will be a lot of to'ing and fro'ing between now and the deadline.
My ranking is just 700k and this will be my first year outside the top 150k. So need to think carefully!

    Well chaps (and Clairwithani) :pac:

Here it is, the one you've all been waiting for....the updated version of my over-rated spreadsheet.

I haven't done any testing or tooling about with it really so let me know if there's anything wonky with it and I'll have a look
