Carroll targeting a return in April: "He is still a very important member of our squad, and I hope he will be available for the final four or five games, even if it is off the bench at times," revealed Moyes. #WHUFC https://t.co/bgQ2GiHPbS

Tough choice now for TC 37

So happy I don't have TC left, that would actually have tempted me if I thought he'd get 180 mins,:D

He can be in my draft teams anyway so that'll satisfy my punty inclinations

that depends on your current team. Im going to FH in 34 , TC in 37 and BB 36. Stick your team up.

With that set up I'd definetly FH in 34. You only have 5 dgw players. You could get the best 10 and salah out in 34. You currently have 9 for gw 35 so reasonably well set up for that. I'd be doing Francis to dummet this week. That gives you another gw 35 player and another dgw 37 player. In 33 get in a player that has a double in 37 possibly Kennedy for McArthur. TC in 37 .Sell the likes of shaqiri, Walcott in 36 for dgw 37 players.

WC not played yet. Think I'll wait until week 34 to play it, or is it best to play now to get better prices?

    Decisions!

Depends what other chips you have left and what your current team looks like.

Stick up your team. Its hard to know how to play it without seeing your current team.

    Karius-

    Smalling
    Mee
    Ogbanna

    Milivojevic
    Sterling
    Salah
    Doucour
    Aguero
    Lukaku
    Firmino

    Adrian
    Kenny
    Martina
    Shaquiri

A lot of dead wood that will be moving with the Wildcard.

    Hi Looking at

    De Gea, Hennessey
    Christensen, Alonso, Morgan, Monreal, Bailey
    Salah, Son, Willian, Cork, Mahrez
    Lukaku, Vardy, Barnes

    On my wild card.
FH for 35 and BB still to use, thinking of 34.
1.1 in the bank in case I want to get Kane back in, swap Alonso for Davis and Lukaku to Kane,

    Any advice appreciated.

    Thanks

I think I would wildcard today with that team. You aren't set up for dgw 34 and have a fair few doubtful starters for this week. With no FH you will need a couple of Burnley players and probably keep your Liverpool players with gw 35 in mind.

    Really like it,

Would you swap in Ryan for Hennessy?

Two Doubles and a nice Rotation with DDg for City game

I was all set for Vardy but few podcasts are putting me off him

Anyone have any advice? No Lukaku is my primary concern but Swansea have been decent since the new manager came in.

    DDG

    VVD, Coleman, Hegazi

    Salah, Doucoure, Mahrez, Stanislas, Hazard

    Aubameyang, Firminho

Widcard planned for next week (when i can see my competitors shiny new teams)

Anyone looking to go with a very premium defence for the run in?

I've been looking 1 player from each Man Utd, Spurs, and Chelsea for both doubles.

    1 GK, 2 defs.

    For the most minutes possible I'm looking at;
    DDG(5.9),
    Vertonghen(6.0),
    Alonso(7.0 in my team already)/Moses(6.5)(OOPs).

Ruling out a United Def as Valencia seems to be only nailed on Utd Def but don't think if I can justify 6.9 for non Alonso defender.

Smalling-Jones would be ideal if we knew which would definitely play.
Courtois still being an injury doubt is putting me off him as I'd need him for GW34 BB. Anyone have any news on him?

Going with Alonso or Moses-OOP would allow me to downgrade Willian in MF, would prefer to keep him but need a quick way to get Kane back.

The rest of the defence will be cheap-cheap-
    Burnley(x2)
    -Leicester-
    BHA or Saints (GK)

    Long night ahead I think!

Trying my absolute best to convince myself that Smalling will start the 4 games between GW32 and 34. I can't. For some reason with Bailly I can. How do others see this?

It's a minefield. If Bailly would keep fit I'd agree, but he regularly throws himself into challenges with complete abandon for his own safety. Not a safe pick either. Rojo is back as well so that's 5 central defenders to choose from. Valencia and DDG are the only safe picks imo. Pricey

    Yea I'm going with:
    De Gea, Ryan
    Alonso, Valencia, Maguire, Lowton, Dunk.

I might downgrade Valencia when it becomes clear which centre backs are gonna play.

Any thought to spread the risk and go one Southampton and Brighton each?

Would a spurs defender vert not be of interest. Till season end will probably keep as many cs.

I don't see either keeping many clean sheets but I prefer Brightons fixtures though.

3 out of the next 4 are away and he offers no attacking threat these days. I would pick Davies if Rose got injured though.

    Why Jones?????
Jose ripped him to shreds after his last "performance ". He then picked up a one week injury which got the Phil Jones treatment ...........needless risky pick imo. Especially when combined when christensen. AND then cedric ???????asking for trouble

Wasn't Rojo playing for the Argentine team that conceded 6 to Spain mid wk!

It's just more uncertainty and with city in 33 I am going to wait and decide then

    I think two is enough.

You are using your WC so at least one option, of your other three defenders, must be decent enough to play each week.

I’ve got DDG and Alonso and the other premium defender will be either Vertonghen or Christensen. I’d love Bailly but already have 3 United.

The extra million or 1.5m that a Morgan or Dunk gives you can be more importantly spent on attackers.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,293 ✭✭✭✭Mint Sauce

Have just torn my WC team another new one, so I can get Kane back in good time for GW37 and his TC

    Ryan Ederson

    Morgan Mee Ogbonna Alonso Monreal

    Salah Groß Gudmundsson Willian Son

    Firmino Rashford Vardy

With transfers on GW 35 and 36, Alonso to Davis, and Firmino to Kane. My head hurts more now, than what it ever did.

Does the free transfer carry over if you use a free hit? So that there would be two the next game week. If not can I make the free transfer and then free hit so I wont lose out on a free transfer.
