Hi. I’ve a small startup involved in data anaytics and we are targeting the power and energy sector as that’s our background.
One example of a recent project we did was assisting a client in developing a dashboard for reviewing and predicting energy use in a large industrial building. Before this he had no vision of the detail behind his electricity costs.

We think there may be an opportunity to assist some SME’s in Ireland. We would like to co develop and explore some solutions for them but are wondering if it’s possible to for us to apply for financial support from the likes of Enterprise Ireland or similar on their behalf to explore use cases for their business?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

If you are looking for someone to provide grants to the SME's to help improve energy efficiency then you need to talk to SEAI. If you need help developing your own start-up then talk to your local LEO and Institute of Technology who offer the New Frontiers Programme. In the Dublin area IT Tallaght is probably next to offer a New Frontiers Programme (www.synergycentre.ie).
