Can I get a mortgage Top Up loan from a different bank?

    If I am 2 months into a 3 year fixed rate mortgage currently and I wanted to borrow, it looks like the mortgage top up would be the best option. But am I able to get this type of loan from any bank other than my current mortgage provider?

    No, your existing bank holds the property as security.
