They’ll probably use them to draft me and you.

Browns nearly need to be rebuilt from the ground up

Davante Adams is going to get a big contract, he's an UFA in the off-season.

Chargers could make a serious run if they make the playoffs

With the Vikings loss, will they try Bridgewater next week?

    Nope

Keenum has earned his job and no way will he be benched for a QB who last played in 2015

He’s an UFA this offseason, gonna get paid $$$ somewhere

Eagles have made a great comeback after a sloppy start.

What a beauty of a throw to be fair, Burton was being well covered and Wentz threw it to him. As Shannon says, that was very much "Walk-it-to-him-Wentz"

    Wentz in a lifetime

    Wentzelvania etc

Only wentz and Wilson can do that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,159 ✭✭✭mrkiscool2

Lovely misdirection there, after 11 4th and 1 and shorter plays, they change it up. Smart play-calling.

Todd Bowles horrendous clock management never ceases to amaze me! Gutless head coach

Eagles are hungry. D is making some big time stops, and Wentz and co are rolling, 3 drives since the INT, 3 TD's.

The sooner the better. We can't keep losing games because of him

Heard he essentially can't be cut because they can't afford another one.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,159 ✭✭✭mrkiscool2

That is a dreadful spot by the officials, he is clearly a yard short of the line.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

2 cracking late games in Jacksonville and LA.

Rams with the blocked punt to get back in the lead.

Rams defense trying to throw this game away with stupid penalties.

Crap wentz might be injured hopefully nothing serious

Out of the game with a knee injury and it sounds bad

Dear, a knee injury does not sound good, but he looked okay after, hopefully it's only a strain!

That Wentz news sucks seems like a season ender

    Wonder when we will know

Disaster for the Eagles, doesnt look good but hopefully its only a couple of weeks at worst.

Josh McCown broke his left hand today. The amount of QB injuries this year is insane, never having a decent backup QB been more important.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,159 ✭✭✭mrkiscool2

Absolutely need a stop now. Wouldn't trust anyone more than the Eagles D.

Wentz apparently did his ACL. Will be done for the season and then some i'd say. What a ****ty season.

    That confirmation or just guesses?

That pads out the score but dreading the news in the morning

  • It must be a guess MRI wouldn't be until tomorrow how ****ibm typical an eagles season would it be for this **** to happen

I don't think you need to wait until the morning, the news is about as bad as it could be on a leg injury (almost as bad as it could be...Zach Miller comes to mind) right now, so any change in the news would probably be a good thing.

I know nothing about his history but I sure hope he hasn't done his ACL before, or else it's absolutely disastrous news tbh. Some tough fcuker to finish off the drive with that injury!

Sucks, he was one of the best things about watching the NFL this year, if he's not going to be on the field again this year it'll be a less exciting playoffs to watch, that's for sure.

That being said, this was a hell of a match, really a reminder of what the league can be when it's at its best with two savage QBs and two well rounded teams going at it. Foles stepped in and did well to finish things off.

No confirmation but that video where his knee bends in on itself is very much some form of ligament damage. Might not be a full tear, but even so there is no way he is back for the play-offs if that is the case.

It's so unfortunate. We have looked a great team this year and there was potential, after all the results today and Thursday, to give us a real shot of being in the SuperBowl. Without Wentz, I don't see that happening. Will still finish 13-3 for the season and have either 1st or 2nd seed (have 2.5 games on the Rams with that win, so effectively means they won't leap us for a bye unless we lose all 3 games, and two on the Saints).

Foles is a solid qb for us but..... He is no wentz :(

  • Na seasons more or less done if wentz os gone and we had all chips pushed in this year to boot ****ing ****

I was unable to watch the eagles game tonight but I hear Carson wentz suffered a bad knee injury and some here suggest it was an ACL injury which clearly is not a good thing for an eagles fan.

I have to say I fancy the Cards this weekend. Gabbert is doing a decent job and the Titans were terrible last week at home against a really poor team.

Sadly correct on this. Damn Titans just so lax offensively.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

    Bills
    Dolphins
    Jets
    Raiders
    Texans
    Colts
    Eagles
    Cardinals
    Vikings
    Packers
    Bucs

I think all of the above teams will have had their starting QB miss games due to injury (Eagles and Jets most likely from next week).

I think Foles is serviceable at QB. He had a great year at Philly a couple of years ago and I think he can definitely lead this team. Wentz will be a loss no doubt but with the momentum the Eagles have I think they can still get it done to sew up the number 1 seed in the NFC, then anything can happen.

Shame to see Wentz go down, having a great year. A huge loss for the playoffs.

Not a hope. Wentz third and long conversions have been ridiculous. Unless they can find a different production they’ll be one and done. The NFC conference is ridiculously strong.
