Waterford council mortgage

Anybody have any idea or dealings with waterford council once refused by a bank. Are they still offering this to people on low income. Just asking renting for years & lease up in new year so time to make a move as the rental situation right now is beyond a joke... any help appreciated

I know someone in the process of this and one of the stipulations you must adhere to is to be able to show regular savings over a period of time, I'm not sure what that time scale is but if you cant prove your saving regularly into a savings account then you will be told you need to start doing it.
