    Hi,

This thread has become too alternative for me, I thank you all for your every input but on this subject I am more suited to a less intricate high level view which I will obtain from the mainstream thread. Thank you all.

    Ok!

Anyone going to invest in the Bunny Token ICO?

    https://youtu.be/lQfLb53Bao4

It’s pitching itself as the coin that will be used by people viewing online pornography. It probably has as good a shot as any other coin, considering that many cryptocurrency enthusiasts are in the same demographic as heavy users of hardcore gonzo porn - young, male, tech enthusiasts, geeky, single, obsessive.

Grow up. You have no credibility on this forum.

I’m a gamer. And once I read into its potential adoption and target audience, I was sold.

Can you elaborate as to what problem it solves and what it does that any other crypto token couldn't do in it's place?

    Genuine question.

It certainly seems like a stronger business idea than almost every other ICO out there. People buy an anonymous coin, and spend some of it on a porn site before one of their regular ‘pump and dump’ sessions. Coins go directly to the content producer, and the consumer can ejaculate knowing he has contributed some money towards the woman being violated by a group of psychopathic ‘cocks for hire’.

Sure go on the Johnny to the moon with ya ,you seem quite interested in this particular project so goodluck but I'm out,it's funny you try to be smart and act all knowing but your the one throwing around this geek nerd **** **** and looking into said 'porncoin'

Read about it on the r/buttcoin forum on reddit, and argue that it’s actually the best use of crypto I’ve heard. It actually has a practical application- fans of ‘one-handed websites’ can use these coins to pay the talent starring in the movies that get them to unload all over their tablet or laptop.

I’ve no need for watching blues. Up to me conkers in box most weekends. Let’s just say i’d be an early investor in Durexcoin - if you catch my drift.

Read some stats lately that 80+% of ICOs are scams

Any privacy coin could be used for the above.

    Genuine question.

Where in my post did I mention it solves any problem? Nor did I state that it does something that other Crypto’s don’t already do.

Not all ICO’s exist to solve problems, and multiple crypto’s can do the same thing.

Sure isn’t that what ALL fiat currencies do? The same thing....

So you think it has potential because...?

I'm genuinely trying to see why people pick one coin over another? Like is it just gambling. You picked this one cause you're a gamer?

I sometimes do that if I'm at the races and one of the horses has a name I like. Seems to be a similar enough logic.

I actually want to have a discussion with H0neybadger as from the posts I've read of his, he seems to have a very good grasp of the whole crypto space. From what I've gathered he's running a professional mining operation so I was trying to figure out what is exciting about this KIN coin over any of the thousands of others.

My portfolio consists of approx 73 different crypto’s for medium to long term holds.

For short term, it’s closer to 250 different coins.

No, it’s not like being at the races and choosing a lucky dog or horse after drinking a few beers for a laugh.

My long term portfolio is selected after meticulous research and meeting a long list of criteria.

I’ve been in Crypto long enough to see shills, scams, exit plans and a whole lot more.

I don’t waste my time or money selecting coins that I don’t see a real potential.

And before it’s said, I’m open to admit I’m in this 100% for the money.
I’m not chasing fantasy by saying I believe in the tech and that’s why I invest. Because it’s not. I’ve made a good sum of money and plan to make a lot more doing what I do. (Mining, investing and trading)

Some short term. Some long term. And KIN, I believe to be a medium to long term gain. With a potential to reach 0.001c - 0.002 coin within 12-18 months.
    It’s currently worth .00017.

Can I ask how you feel about GAS, OMG, Walton and COSS

I just looked at the market for the first time in many weeks. OMG holy ****. I was once up 300% - now I'm down 30% from original investment. At the first big crash after the massive January high I was really thinking of just selling out, taking a safe harbour and waiting it out for a while till maybe the madness settled - but no I HODL'd just like everyone said. Why did I listen...

Must be as a result of people doing meticulous research on the coin and deciding it has great potential adoption and target audience.

The team really seem to have a clear path to success. Having a tee shirt shop set up in Q1 where you can buy cheap Chinese tat with their token is really adding value.

Must add it to my portfolio of other very interesting and useful coins.

Not to come to Verge's rescue or anything, but the main dev is the guy on the bottom right (2mins into this):

    Dodgy? Perhaps.

I think it has something to do with an upcoming partnership announcement. Buy the rumour, sell the news.

Sure isn’t that what ALL fiat currencies do? The same thing....

Fiat allows you to buy goods from the economy that issued the fiat. Without stating the obvious one buys goods from another country because they are attractive due to quality, price, uniqueness etc compared to what is available elsewhere. A particular fiat does well via another fiat if the product of their economy is appealing to other markets - so not all fiats are the same. Obviously printing money and debt levels also need to be factored in when determining the future strength of an economy not just the GDP.

I'm sure most know this already but when you state crypto is the same as fiat I do wonder.

  • Registered Users Posts: 321 ✭✭h0neybadger

sorry, I may have mis stated what I meant.

Not implying crypto and Fiat are the same thing!

I was implying that some crypto's have the same use.
Same as some fiat's have the same use...

If I look at my current holdings versus total invested it looks at 1st glance as if I'm down 30%
But good news for me is that I crystallized gains in Tron and XRP by selling out at their peaks(and with a good amount of free Tron at the time ;)

So in actuality I'm at @breakeven at the moment.
