Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He was never going to be in the squad. Even wenger is not that stupid

Story is that he was in the squad but left it last night after developments seemingly medical to be completed in Manchester.

Wenger said it in his press conference he would be in squad and could play if no deal was done.

Well I guess bangkok knows what Wenger is thinking better than Wenger. That seems correct.

Been a bad start. Haven't got going at all. Burnley look threatening going forward

Change into the black kit at half time.

Burnley. *shrugs* always the way when we play them for whatever reason. Personally I think it's cause they out work us.

You just hope the extra bit of class comes through, this is when our wastefulness in the final third haunts us

So now you telling me what I know Now?

I never expected him to play but I'm saying he was in the match squad he would of been in the stands.. He trained with the match day team yesterday the story is he left the rest of the players last night.

If the ref says "advantage" can you just stop playing and take the free instead?

We had no advantage there and it seemed the players were forced to play on.

Such a scruffy game so far.

I think THIS is exactly the type match we could do with Alexis on the right. Him right and Martial left should strech that defence.

Ashley Barnes is causing a lot of trouble. Still think Pogba leaves Matic exposed.

    Barnes is a cheat
Dives every time the ball goes up to him.

We are getting worse as the half goes on.

Just had the best chance of the half.

i think we can all agree that this has been a septic first half

I think that says more about this half than our attacking talent.

Nice from Young who’s been poor so far.

Pogba being naive a couple of times deep in his own half.

    It’s all very flat.

I would call it underwhelming rather than septic.

no shots on target. a few players have been non existent

I don't understand why our passing goes to shot every so often and it seems to be a collective things. Its really strange

So? I’m talking about the overall performance which you said we can all agree is septic and I said I’d call it underwhelming.

Pointing out negatives doesn’t in anyway negate my opinion so I’ve no idea what it’s supposed to mean in reply to my post.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,019 ✭✭✭✭adox

Lovely feet from Martial at the end of the half. Shame about the strike.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,169 ✭✭✭✭pjohnson

Septic would be being 2-0 down to them. We are fairly dominant of the ball. Just cant do anything with it.

overall performance so far has been extremely poor. our attack has been shocking

Again I don’t know what point you are trying to make?

“I think we can all agree we have been septic”

“I’d call it underwhelming rather than septic” ( pointing out that we all don’t think it’s a septic performance)

You post negative aspects of our play - i reply

    You post more negative stuff.

No ones denying we have been poor. Do you understand what underwhelming means?

It’s up to the refs interpretation of wether an advantage has been played, not up to the team..

It’s one of the main rules that I would like to see changed and the rugby system of proper advantage brought in..

I laughed at the fact that Bangkok liked this :D

Alexis instead of mata there and he would have been through on goal

Again. How for the tallest team in the league are we so bloody awful at delivering corners.

As much as he demands it don't let sanchez take em. Get Ozil to do that.
