Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    But thanks Mkhitaryan for everything

    This
Arsenal are still a rival even though it may not look like it at the moment.
If he succeeds at Arsenal that could be considered a problem for Utd

Lol latest bull**** on wages, we are going to be giving Sanchez 500,000 a week after tax. Where do these people make up their numbers!,

They calculate how much it'll take to work up some outrage, then add 100k.

Lukaku needs to start being a prick, for lack of a better word, in those situations.

He should be tearing strips off the two of them for not getting the ball in both those instances.

Van Nistelrooy or Rooney would have chinned them for not passing to them in those situations and i can't say i'd blame them. In the second photo you can see the exasperation from Lukaku. I hope there were teacups being flung at the pair of them in the dressing room tbh

Phrase originated from cricket, its where a batsman would accumulate runs on a flat track and inflate his numbers but struggle on better pitches. Hence, flat track bully.

Oh. I was wrong then. I thought it referred only to footballers, most commonly forwards, who perform best against smaller sides, as a school yard bully would pick on seemingly weaker opposition. I'll relax my toes but not ass.

Holt was blaming Woody for not doing a good enough job when Jose said United did not spend enough. I did laugh at the time as Newstalk took his ****e up to be one of Jose's pals defending him! Anyway, Woody goes out and gets Sanchez and he is changing direction again.

It cheers the heart to see us being really hated again. We make the money, by clever investment & we can spend what we make.

Some of the **** I have read recently is astounding. I wonder if people believe what they are saying or if it would just create too much cognitive dissonance to acknowledge that United have done well here.

United have essentially swapped a player who has had one consistently excellent season in the big leagues (one season with Dortmund) with one the best attacking talents in the league. Now I'm not saying that Mkhitaryan won't suit Arsenal, but his form over the last 5 years suggests that he is an inconsistent confidence player and he is more likely to continue on that road as he is to buck the trend.

Then we have the fees being quoted, with all manner of stuff being thrown in to create a nice eye catching number in the headline that will generate some nice ad revenue. This is not done for other transfers where there is an actual fee involved for whatever reason. Jaysus, if we are doing shonky maths, why are we not subtracting Mkhitaryans wage for the duration of his contract to get the overall cost of the deal?

Time will tell how well either player does out of this, but I know what side of this deal I'd rather be on.

The person posting them was using them as examples to back up the quote "Lukaku played very well today" and that he probably should have had a goal or two but for selfish team mates (i agree with this part). So it makes sense in that context to discuss his overall contribution.

Had he scored one of these at the end, does it mean he played well? Goal and assist suggests he did but his overall play throughout the game wasn't man of the match worthy and he wasn't even one of our better players. Our attack stuttered today and they were all off colour including him.

If you are taking about my post and you think his overall game wasn't good then you need to re watch the game. Also I wasn't taking about only this game, it's very noticeable how his game has Io improved.

Btw if you want to argue against other's posts then you better quote them rather than posting with "that guy posted bla bla bla". If you are taking about other posts then ignore mine.

I don't need to rewatch the game. I just have a different opinion to you. That's okay. Most articles on player ratings have him at a 6 or 7 rating. He was decent yesterday, not very good.

And apologies for not quoting you, I was more talking about an overall need to overrate or underrate Lukakus performances rather than your individual post as there seems to be two camps emerging. Reality is, he has had a decent start to his career with us but is capable of more

Would be hoping Jose let them have it over both chances. So infuriating seeing that happen, it's so obvious the right move was to pass it in.
Could have cost 3 points yesterday thankfully it make no difference.
