Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wing it is more like it. Out of all the ways a club could reveal a player and have done, it was a bit surreal is all.

Never mind the piano, the whole video is pure class, it's emotive. Similiar to the job Everton did when they resigned Rooney.

I will unfortunately never forget that Rudiger one which Chelsea produced last Summer.

WTF...does Alexis play the piano himself?

    Haha...

    Very appropriate tune.

Eh it's not that far fetched. Sanchez in prime form is a match winner. While his form has been questionable this season there's no doubt in my eyes he could potentially drag any of the remaining EPL teams to UCL glory. Himself , Pogba, DDG ... It's certainly not silly to dream.

What a brilliant signing. The lad is a class act. Absolute warrior on the pitch and has the ability to be a match winner against any team. The bonus is that he will not have to play in the WC in the summer so will be fresh for the start of next season.

Next top 6 game id like to see us line out with"
    Lukaku
    Martial - Pogba - Sanchez
    Matic - Herrera

Proper free up Pogba to be free while giving Matic a bit of extra support. Pogba in a real three, I genuinely think we will get even more out of him

    It was a joke.

A poster in one of the other threads recently dug out a screen shot they had taken a few months back in order to try and have a pop at United fans.

I've too much time on my hands.

Anyway, over the moon with this signing, genuinely cannot believe we have signed him and the thoughts of him, Martial, Lukaku and Pogba going forward is mouth watering.

    Great day for the parish.

Biggest thing I took from interview is that he says United showed him they wanted him more. You can say it's down to money or what ever but the fact is he could of wait until summer and picked up a 30 million signing on bonus.

There's another point to be made here. Twice now, Lukaku and Sanchez, our rivals have rather arrogantly gone around talking up targets to the press, presenting them as desperate to join them, and acting as if signing them was a mere inevitability. And both times, they've been left back-pedaling and coming up with excuses when we swoop in with better packages, seemingly back up how much they'd mean to us and got the deal done in an efficient manner.

It can be frustrating sometimes when the press get nothing from the club, when it feels like nothings happening or when it feels rival clubs are buying players we, as fans, want, but it looks like we aren't even interested. There's a fair chance thats part of the club's philosophy though; deny everything, keep quiet as can be, and if the player opts against us, then "Hey, we weren't even in for them, they couldn't have turned us down". And I know which place I'd rather be in when a great player moves to a rival.

Lads who was on the MNF and did say anything about Sanchez?

I am not even gonna debate this with you either, United have not been awful but yes, I believe he mentioned something about a wand he had in the interview that has powers and he will use it to magically make United play the best football you ever did see.

United have been atrocious at times this season. I would expect a higher standard from the current crop. While this may be a good signing I will not go overboard with excitement like most on here until things improve dramatically with the rest of the team. I am not talking Fergie era stuff here, I am talking quality possession and passing that you would expect from players that we have.

We've spent an awful lot already and they're not performing for whatever reason.

    2nd in the league
Knockouts of the CL for the first time in years
Third most goals scored in the league, with joint best defense

**** off with this "they're not preforming" bs. We had a few bad games, but overall we're having our best season in years.

And yet the club are sitting 2nd in the league, only because of City's great start to the season. Sure some of the games are great to watch, some not due to results being ground out, or points shared, but if every game were won 4-0, what'd be the point in watching/following United?

    Today is a Great Day!

I remember being really disappointed we weren’t in the mix for him when he left Udinese, it was around the time of there being no value in the transfer market.

Was more disappointed when we went with Di Maria instead of him.

Was sure he was more or less a City player in waiting up until a week ago. Still can’t believe it!

5 Premier League teams in the knockout stages of the Champions League? Either all of the Premier League (and therefore, European clubs) are poor, or you could be totally wrong. I know which one I'd bet on.

I find it very strange that you wouldn't know what Sanchez's contract situation at Arsenal was as couldn't have been more documented, and then make sweeping statements about how poor United are.

For the most part, United have been very good this season. That fact is only hidden by the fact that City are having (by far) the best Premier League season in history. Sanchez addresses one of the massive gaps in the team (RW), and will drive United on again. It's the strongest squad we've had in a long, long time.
