the absolute state of that pitch, EPL standard players shouldn't be expected to play on that potato field

If Darmian continues to get rinsed by this left winger he may give up.

Pretty insipid stuff so far, passing leaves a lot to be desired but good pressure and work rate by Yeovil.

these amateurs won't be able to keep at this for the whole game, United to pounce after the hour mark.

No point expending energy needlessly against the likes of these. Let them wear themselves out.

1-0 is the same as 4-0 here. Get the job done and expend as little energy as possible.

I like what Sanchez is trying even if it isn't quite working yet.

Sanchez trying to direct the players where to run it just goes to show what level some of our attacking players are at.

There should be some sort of standard expected during a pitch inspection

That pitch we had to play on in Europe couple seasons ago was worse.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,691 ✭✭✭s3rtvdbwfj81ch

Darmian needs to move to a standard more in keeping with his level.

  • Nearly

    Grass. Check

    Flat. Check

What do you want? A wembley style pitch.

    Again, welcome to league 2

That would have been a lovely goal

Sanchez playing from the left. Think he will be centre against spurs when martial is back in team

Stay quiet with your league two we know where they play its the bloody FA cup.

McTominay looks very like Carrick in his movement. Be class if he turns out to be a good player.

Your goal post moving is beyond frustrating

    Potholes - check

I just said already there should be a standard set as part of a pitch inspection

    Should be red

    Scummy tackle, well deserved yellow.

In Cavan there was a great fire / Judge McCarthy was sent to inquire / It would be a shame / If the nuns were to blame / So it had to be caused by a wire.

That's the risk when your playing against these nothing players one them boot into one your player s just to rough him up get crowd going.

  • How is that not a ****ing red? Disgraceful challenge.

My fear for games like this

Someone will either get wrecked in a tackle or make ****e of himself in a pothole

Tackles like that are so stupid
Trying to show how much a hard man they are
    Pathetic

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,691 ✭✭✭s3rtvdbwfj81ch

    jesus christ

the state of that tackle, no place for it with players of this quality.

FA Cup is a waste of time.

Great to see Shaw coming back into the form that earned him his move to Utd,whereas Darmian on the other side looked very decent in his first few games for Utd and now looks like a dud.Not much hope of getting much of his transfer fee back the way he is playing anytime he gets a game.

I said all this earlier in the week... the bad challenges etc that we would receive. Was told they wouldnt happen as Yeovil are a professional team. Playing out exactly as i had thought. 2 Yeovil players could have been sent off already

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,906 ✭✭✭✭PhlegmyMoses

Ref very kind to them so far. Lot of exaggeration and they should be a man down
