Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Thankfully he got through that. Few dirty challenges on him, would have got worse as well as game went on as someone would try to make a name for themselves. Roll on spurs
To be fair I don’t think any of the tackles were malicious. Reckless, but I don’t think they were out to injure any of the United players.

Happy with Alexis. Key pass and an assist. Can't wait to see him get Pogba and Martial with him.

Bangkok was right he said there would be a few bad tackles regardless if they were malice or not

There seems to be some discussion here bout the description of what he did, so I was being diplomatic :P

Either way, a good debut overall.

A good 70 minutes from Sanchez. He hasn't played in 3 weeks so good to get him back up to speed.

    Referee is awful here

    Or as LVG used say

    Match rhythm

  • Lingard always a threat

Happy to see Carrick & Mctominey with 90 minutes

I didn’t say he was wrong though?

Edit: no idea why the post didn’t quote.

Nope, he's been very highly spoken off by former/older united players but I'd say the vast majority of fans didn't see him becoming an influential player in the team. I certainly didn't anyway

    And another lovely goal

Yes I think a lot of us did. His problem was always consistency but he seems to have got rid of that issue now

Nope and I'd be first to admit I called him nothing but a squad player a few months ago but I love been wrong about them things.

Bought he'd be a good squad player. Never thought he would be this great. So pleasantly surprised to be wrong.

Not to this level(especially the finishing). Many of us thought he was one of the most intelligent footballers at the club, a real footballing brain, a player who finds space where others can’t and also works his bollix off. His application with the balk though was always his downfall.

He’s going through a real purple patch at the moment which does flatter him somewhat but he’s an excellent player, really pulls defenses around. I’d say he’s great to play with and he will be knock8ng around the first team for years to come in and out of it you would imagine.

594 minutes without conceding a goal apparently. None let in so far in 2018.

Martin Keown is trending number 1 on twitter right now .

The bitterness in his commentary towards Alexis was ridiculous. He should never commentate again after that .

And the he went and gave him man of the match ha.

Sanchez is class and Arsenal fans are so bitter it's laughable.

On the game, professional performance, loved Gomes trick to create chance for himself. Sanchez was class above creating so many chances. Lingard was Lingard scoring Lingardesque goal.

Without doubt. The best player on the pitch by a mile

Been watching the goals again, in real time I was watching the ball and hadn't noticed that Lukaku fell flat on his arse about 4 seconds before scoring :)

Gomez is going to be some fella.

    Scrap the cap!
