Played very well apart from two huge lapses. Jones should hang his head in shame for the goal(and Lindelof to a lesser extent)for not bothering their hole to get back until it was too late. The sort of sleep walking that drives us all mad here and which had been totally absent up until then.

A midfield two of Matic and Pogba leaves us wide open, although we may ge away with it with the likes of Leicester.

Matic Utds best player again. Pogbas been ok if a little too indulgent. Martial Mata and Lingard look good going forward.

We played great in the first twenty and really should have taken advantage and scored.

Worth noting that Young had also completely switched off in the lead up to the goal. Did they all think Smalling was busting his hole to get back just for the fun of it?

How anyone can blame Smalling for the goal is beyond me. Jones and Lindelof thought the other two would deal with it? Well that’s just naive and are still the main culprits. Totally switched off.

The others deserved to be hung, but I do think that once Smalling stood Mahrez up he still really needed to get into him and try to challenge the ball, him laying the ball off like that was always going to happen. It was job only half done from Smalling.
