433 would be my preferred formation for this squad. Also I certainly wouldn’t have Rojo in the defence as a starter.

I think 4312 is best suited to us and the wingbacks pushing up seen as our wing play is pretty bad anyway.

No Rashford or Martial in the starting line up. Miki starts.

Big game for Micki . Needs to perform today

That looks more like the shape we had at start if season hopefully.

Shaw starting games is hopefully the start of a long run in the team. I have a feeling he is going to score soon too as he gets within shooting distance quite a bit and has a go.

Hoping he doesn’t get relegated to the bench when Valencia is back. I like Young on the right.

    Ibra not on the bench.

Attacking wise anyways, United look much better with Shaw and young in the full back spots

Two games in three days so not surprising there's some fringe elements getting time. Rashford and Martial on at 70 for a run out could be fun.

Also curious how the "Mkhi plays better when Pogba does too" idea works today...

Time to get the finger out today.
Down to third after Chelsea's win, no pissing around in front of goal, we need a big win to get things back on track or we could see ourselves behind Liverpool by next weekend.

    Glazers Out!

We need a win. A big win would be a bonus but we need to win whatever way we can. Another game on Monday.

Thirty something games for club and country without a goal I read this morning.

Really hope we smash this Southampton team today. None of this get 1 goal and sit back with 10 men behind the ball bs. That team is well capable of putting 3 or 4 past them!! The mood around United has dropped ever since the City game and especially with the last 3 results. Need to get back to winning ways. C'mon United!!

Might be a blessing in disguise... he’s not been in good form! Hope he’s ok though!

José overplayed him like he did Zlatan last season.

He got the other players head into the base of his skull / top of his spine.

    Hopefully it's just precautionary.

Hope he's alright, the contact didn't look bad, but the way he wasn't moving at all, the reaction of the medical staff...hope it was all precautionary and it wasn't as bad as it looked...

That's pretty standard when approaching head/neck injuries.

Saints fans singing "this is a library" two minutes after an injury like that. Classy stuff

Yes you do and the twits who have somehow managed to take an obvious statement (that he’s Been in bad form and manager even suggested he needed a rest.) and somehow misinterprete it purely to get offended on Lukakus behalf for something I didn’t say (that I’m glad he’s injured/hurt).

"In good hands with this Man United medical team."

    Fúcking rich coming from Hargreaves.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,843 ✭✭✭GSPfan

Can’t imagine that low level of impact has done any serious damage but it was low down on the back of the head, hopefully just a precaution due to him being a bit groggy. I knew as soon as he stopped reacting to the pain and lay still that he was going off.

Great to see Rashford up front.

He’s not in good form, it’s obvious , no amount of waffling will change the fact that a striker is judged on his goals. They were even highlighting his form at defending united corners.

No one is offended it was a stupid comment to make the man was down for 5 minutes with a head injury surrounded by medical staff and not moving how can that be seen anyway as a blessing in disguise is extremely not right.

And as for calling people twits I think that just shows the level.

One of the first things he did when he joined City was talk shít about United's medical team.
