Lingard chance was the best moment of the half for us. A nice quick move from close to our own corner which is when we're at our best. Pogba with the drop of a shoulder creating the space we haven't seen much of.

Also I never took to Morgan at Utd and dislike him more now with this card waving for Jesse.

He was supposed to be Carricks replacement but failed miserably to impose himself. Dont think Everton fans have took to him either.

I agree although that Southampton game is a low bar.

Still feel like we need to move the ball a little faster and be a bit more clinical when Everton do give us some space in the final third to play with.

Poor decision making, the usual. Decent enough performance but nothing to write home about.

Martial flashing the ball across the 6 yard box and 4 players in the box but nobody moving to the ball stands out, as does Lingard going himself when he could easily have slotted in Martial.

Too much tippy tappy one pass bull**** in the middle of the pitch but hits a wall when getting to the box. Everton are going to Everton, playing it around in front of them is hardly going to open them up.

We’ve been slow when Everton have men behind the ball and are set, which is 7nderstanke to a degree. One mans slow is another mans patient play although it has been a bug bear of mine the lack of tempo in our play.
When Everton have lost the ball high up the pitch we have certainly broke with speed.

Utd have edged the half. Let’s see what happens in the second. I certainly wouldn’t agree with the comment that “the writings on the wall”

Fitst 30 minutes we were so static it seems to have picked up a bit final 15 but still too much sloppy play to be honest. Everton have fuk all stand out players but match us for every inch of the pitch.

Its the leadership thing again imo, nobody to take the game by the scruff of the neck and dictate terms lifting the performance of the players around him.

Fatigue is only going to become more of a factor as the second half goes on.

We still look unbalanced, not with the formation per say but the personnel.
The right hand side for us is more or less none existent from an attacking point of view while our left is nearly overloaded. Lingard drifting from there, Pogba drifting out there, Martial drifting out there and Shaw adding support too.

I thought we have done the same, but we have been sloppy at time with simple passes and haven't maintained any constant pressure on thier defence.
A few nearly chances so to speak but let down by poor decision making
