How long does it normally take to go up online?
I'm torn between being excited and not being excited at all. 90m ASL, 30km inland in North Kildare. Will it be enough.......

I am 100% expecting copious amounts of snow at that location,Copious, camera at the ready?

Always :) I have an almost three year old who got his first look at the white stuff falling on Thursday but it didn't settle. Would love to have him see his first proper snow so thats making the rollercoaster soooo much harder this year :D:)

Don't despair. Our area isn't to turn to snow until 3am ish. The northern half of county Kilkenny which contains the city has a 50/50 chance i'd say.

+0.7c here at 250M near Roundwood. Very close to marginal. The early hours will be interesting.

Are we expecting snow in south Dublin? Rathfarnham area. If so is it likely to stick or will there be rain/sleet beforehand?
    Thanks.

2496_far0.png ... borrowed image from the technical thread, hoping this comes off for us in Loughrea. Any snow > no snow, but dammit, I won't be happy unless we're buried under yards of the stuff 😊

Small chance for Rathfarnham and higher parts of Dublin, highly unlikely to see anything but sleet towards the coast. :(

No looks like Dublin should be okay but will still feel cold tomorrow.

Just in the door...it’s more light drizzle than rain yet. Often these things start off as rain but it’s not particularly cold out either.

Folks - the temps are supposed to rise a bit as the precipitation is arriving in milder air than is currently over the island. This is as forecast, so if you had heard in earlier forecasts that you were getting snow, don't be worried about the temperatures going up a bit.
