I'm happy with my direction, plan for this year was to build a hoss roster as it was put before and I think I'm managing to do that. Looking forward to the write ups

Just got my pick up to try and keep the momentum going. Will edit and add pictures later. Delighted to get Ringkampf. Some won't be familiar with them but WALTER is one of the best and most sought after wrestlers in the world right now and Axel is currently in NXT and when he debuts hes gonna be a huge star.

Was wondering if WALTER would get taken this year (maybe even by Uncle Walt) given his rise on the indies. Had my eye on the former 3MB guys given the recent stip too. More than other years though my plans are far less set in stone this year.

I think last year was the first year the indie talent knocked on in terms of being classed as real prime talent picks. I can see a few non WWE/NJPW wrestlers being booked real strong this year.

I know my guys will without doubt be north of the midcard.

Is there still a rule in place regarding eligible promotions, or has that been lifted by now? I've never heard of Ringkampf, and would only be aware of names like Matt Riddle through the draft last year. I guess I'm just looking to clarify that they are valid picks.

Both Riddle and Cobb appeared in NJPW in the last year so they are kosher for sure.

WALTER may not be eligible unless someone can show me otherwise, he doesnt look to fit into any of the eligible promotions and he doesnt appear to have wrestled for anything under an NWA banner from what I can see (Ive checked Cagematch, Fightdata base and Wrestling Data)

WALTER was on an NWA Force one card in 2011 and they are listed on the wiki page as NWA from 09 to 12.

Update: Actually just rereading the stip there and I've a question:

What that means for you guys is that some rules for drafting are abolished. The WWE, TNA, NJPW and WCW world titles are no longer considered world titles from this round onwards, so you can draft tag teams that have a former world champion.

NWA World Titles aren't mentioned there. Am I allowed take a team that contains one man who was an NWA World Champ?

I'm getting an education here as I'm going along. Even reviewing footage of the guys on my roster who I'd be less familiar with (Bucks, Hero, Scurll) has opened my mind to lots of stuff. I've then found myself led down various Youtube tangents toward different ROH and other indie stuff that I'd never ordinarily find.

The likes of Cobb, Riddle and Ringkampf have yet to cross my radar but I must look them up.

The draft has lead me to broaden new horizons in teh last 5 years. Its amazing who much your eyes get opened.

Funnily enough Kerry & one of the brothers jumped out to me straight away for joining your roster when I saw the stip, partly because I briefly considered Kerry in the last round. Excellent value for Round 8

I had Kerry & Kevin on my list but I thought you would take the guy I went for MNG. I really don't have too many of my mid card plans tied down but that pick like the last 2 I had means I have loads of options now anyway.
