BandyLegs leaves out the backdoor. For the first time, he also sees Ekbard in the sitting room, peering into the manhole.

There are two sets of foot prints leading to the well.

Bandylegs tries to spot anything from afar using his infravision

A single heat signature curled up behind the well.

    Bandylegs approaches quietly.

'Oy, you! Behind the well! Come out or I'll cut yer head off!'

He readies his axe and thumps it off the well.

Askit rounds the well corner, with an uncouncios Xanthea by the neck.

"YOU HAD A SIMPLE TASK DWARF"

He gestures and BandyLegs is thrown across the snow.

"NOW I HAVE TO DO TO HER THAT WHICH WAS DONE TO ME"

"THAT'S ON YOU, NOT ME" his cloak turns a deep red.

    He phases through the ground.

BandyLegs's body is covered in symbols that are animate. Rotating glyphs, seven in total.

Xanthea awakens in a chapel. The roof is full of stalactites, there are pews made of ice, twelve robed figrues like Askit of ice. Something large moves elsewhere in the complex of which this chapel is merely a room, made obvious from the three doors leading out.

She moves her limbs, but they are tied to the alter.

Askit sits at a large organ.

"I'm sorry about this, I know I was the one who asked you here...I used to play this organ...good times really.

    Look it'll be over soon..."

He takes out a robe like his own

"I made it myself, for you, just wait....it's nice in a way"

She hears him cry beneath the hood and float off.

Xanthea tests her bonds for give. If they're anchored to ice, it should be breakable with the correct application of force.

She examines the skull, especially looking for signs of age and trauma. She looks at the piano -in what way is it broken. Also does she recgnise the song?
As she touches the skull the house flickers.

The door is now open, with BandyLegs on the snow outside.

Beneath is a corridor lined with small round pudgy faces carved from marble.

Xanthea pulls free of the restraints but does not notice the small stalactite the ropes were tied to. It comes free from the ceiling and lands in her stomach. Impaling her.

OOC: Death in fifty minutes from wound.

Bandylegs gets to his feet, wondering what the hell just happened.

He decides to follow the two sets of prints leading away from the house

I light my torch from the fire and slowly descent down the manhole, eyes darting in the shadows.

"Can't see anything yet Ekbard, the elf or dwarf would be useful though"

Xanthea breaks away as much of the stalactite as possible and examines her surroundings.

OOC: I assume, considering a small stalactite did that much damage, that it is either magical, or I am without my chainmail. Is my gear in the immediate vicinity?

Ooc : Askit still on the wall? If so, pull him down
If not, approach Band slowly, mask closed

Ekbard puts his shield in his backpack, then carefully descends, knowing the weakness in the rungs, busts each 2nd rung that looks weak, before descending to the next solid one.

The front (West) of the chapel has two large bronze doors. A smaller door to the North and one to the East at the back of the chapel.

The pictures of six young men and six young women hang are painted on the walls. A central mural depicts Soet with six figures bowing to him.

    The organ lies Northeast.

As Ekbard lands, the faces shout at him.

"You are Soet's. You are nothing!!!"

The corridor extends a few yards to a door like Askit's hood.
