Somewhere to eat near Castlecomer...with kids

Can anyone recommend somewhere to eat near Ccastlecomer, that is kid-friendly. I'll most likely be eating after seven. One toddler and one older kid. Thanks in advance. Won't be in the discovery park but have been there before and the cafe stops serving food early unless you are part of a group booking...

I’m struggling to think of anywhere bar chippers to eat there in the evenings.
I’d say you have to go into Kilkenny or Carlow really to get some place.

Nowhere after 7 bar the chip van (best in kilkenny by the way) KK or Carlow are your best option
