Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Terrible from Lukaku or totally unlucky can look at it both ways.

Nah it's terrible. If you're clearing a ball 6 yards from your own goal, get some height on it.

Lukaku nearly scored an o.g last week defending at the back post and now this slice.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,179 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

    More comical defending from United.

    Bring on Zlatan

thats really not a neutral, a neutral would want a premier league race, not a stroll

certainly the game is better (and was) if City are in the lead. The league is likely already gone.

    Bring on Zlatan

I don’t think he’d have defended that any better tbf.

Very un Jose like goals to concede today.

No manager can legislate for individual errors.

    Bring on Zlatan

He can't be any worse than Lukaku and he'll always make one chance out of nothing in a game.

    Looks like no Aguero today!!!

Attacking wise, he's been given poor service. Difficult enough to do well when the ball is being hoofed up everytime, like watching Ireland play. Albeit, everytime he has got it, he's been poor enough

Defensively, he's assisted both of City goals

All the talk of City being a great passing team...... they have had to rely on 2 set piece goals.

Now the most defensive sub that can be made has been made by guardiola....... where is his criticism for going negative.

    United gave been poor

Silva false 9 now. Pep you hipster fu*k.

City are a different class and more goals in this for them. Lukaku a liability.

City have cut open Utd in the first half from deep with some good passing.

Pep also took off a CB at HT for a CM to go for it and has now balanced the side again.

I dont think hes gone negative but reset the balance of the side.

Definitely individual errors in that city defense if united can get at them.

They'll still largely control the game and do most of the attacking, it's hardly a park the bus job.

    Oliver..

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,655 ✭✭✭Royal Legend

This game is like a repeat of the Merseyside derby. Very similar pattern of play.
Same time on the goal too. Now watch United get a dodgy second-half peno.

Yeah, Bar the fact Everton were away from home and have not spent hundreds of millions building a team that sets up to defend at home,
Its a terrible Indictment of Mourhino

And they say Lukaku doesn't do it in the big games. 2 assists today.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,369 ✭✭✭Rossi IRL

    I'd bring on Ibra soon

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,179 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

Yellow card for Rashford seemed unfair. He just bounced the ball in frustration. He didn't kick it away or shout any obscenities.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,284 ✭✭✭AidoEirE

2-1 down, lukaku needs help up there, ibra surely to come on soon

Theres not many players that I cant stand more than Herrera.

Hes a wannabe hard man that goes down like hes shot once hes touched. Its embarrasing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,690 ✭✭✭✭Skylinehead

Someone needs to tell the crowd what "advantage" is.

Not meaning to stereotype but I watch a lot of Spanish football and there is a lot of that in every game.

I hate to see it, even more as a United fan

I mean, if this is about the Silva incident, he played that one perfectly. Let it go on, book him later. Crowd is stupid.

I wonder who you can blame for that?

    Are you actually being serious?

Martin Tyler reckons a United win is still on.

Hilarious as usual, I see his bias hasn’t softened over the years anyway. A draw is the absolute best case scenario here and they’d really have to pull the finger out the even manage that.

No, hes done it three times today, Silvas tackle was hardly crucning, he went down screaming, didnt get the free and was up straight away.

He goes over and exaggerates tackles all the time.
