Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He got a ball full-force in the face ffs, it could’ve killed him if you believe one of your former managers.

Had the whole goal to target and nails him square in the face ffs

    Smashing save

Lukaku should be burying that though, that's what United forked out so much for him to do

    Poor finish.

No, hes done it three times today, Silvas tackle was hardly crucning, he went down screaming, didnt get the free and was up straight away.

He goes over and exaggerates tackles all the time.

he's a pro at it.... even moves his foot in to make contact and then dives

Great play from the City keeper. May have won the match for City.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,284 ✭✭✭AidoEirE

    Had to be a goal.

Not great saves. Poor efforts. Straight at him.

Really? Two great saves, right at the keeper yeah but with the ball fizzed in that quick it was a good effort

Hardly. De Gea's save against Lacazette last weekend was much better

Great double save from the City keeper.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,906 ✭✭✭✭PhlegmyMoses

Jose turning to longball Pulis/Big Sam style football now?

Seriously, what age are you? Spending your life winding people up on internet forums. Bizarre behaviour.

    That's Benteke :pac:

Heskey would take offence to that comparison.

Bit harsh on Heskey he scored in some big games.

That double save may have won City the title before Christmas.

That just sums up De Bruyne's day. He's been absolutely awful.

My idea of a great save is a keeper making a stop you wouldn't expect them to. I don't consider having the ball blasted at you twice in quick succession amounts amount to making great saves. I think Lukaku was poor.

To be fair, it was great positioning by him to make the saves

    Lukaku should have finished it

Fcuking hate the sheperding the ball at the away end corner flag to see out a game routine.

City have not been great but they can play their B team from now until the end of the season and they'll still win it at a canter, won't be making waves in the champions league though.

Funniest part is the irony is lost on them, no team has benefitted more from refs in the last couple of seasons. :pac:

Just out of interest, not that you will be able to, but can you provide some evidence of this? Instead of bollocksology on an internet forum?

    Why not?

I could see them doing very well in the Champions league, huge squad depth

Was more of the second strike and how quick he got up for it. Lukaku should have done better. Keeper was quite most of the match so did well i thought

He did well to get up so fast after the first stop which was straight at him in fairness.

They are dead right to do it. On the ropes against the closest team to them, who haven't lost at home in a couple of years. Nothing small time about it
