Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    "Lovely dive" . Jesus wept.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,806 ✭✭✭corny

Exeter blocking the drift defence there. They've been good at the less obvious cheating tonight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,816 ✭✭✭Tigerandahalf

Dodgy Ringrose defence. Not for the first time.

    Poor game.

"Lovely Dive" BT commentators seriously doing my head in.

Leinster haven't been in this half at all. Exeter much stronger.

Weird that nowell didn’t start. Ah well they can move the ball thru the backs too after all.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,071 ✭✭✭✭wp_rathead

Nacewa almost had to push up there to be fair, was a 3 on 1

Finally. We win a high ball. Well done McFadden.

Leinster have been terrible in the 2nd half

    We really need points here.

    I am very very tense.

    Need something after all this......

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,806 ✭✭✭corny

Tracy and Conan going backwards on every carry in these phases.

All too slow. Take the points. Bit lucky with that penalty.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,389 ✭✭✭Thanos

Not that lucky, that was great pressure. But yes take the points

Three points welcome but that was an awful lot of effort for a three point chance.

Massive cynical slap on the 9 got let go there, we had numbers wide as well. Try saving if we had gotten it out.

Exeter offside so many times in those phases. One time McGrath was being tackled before he even picked up the ball

    Sexton......please be OK.....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,225 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

I wonder if we didn't go wide because our wings ain't quick enough to threaten the line.

32 phases. Brilliant from both sides there.

    Good man Isa!

Exeter defence is very good on the gainline in fairness. A good few Leinster players being driven back.

Lack of creativity about Leinster. The centres are offering little.

McGrath is slowing down the Leinster attack a bit too ponderous at the base of the ruck for my liking

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

    Well done Ferg.....saved us there.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,806 ✭✭✭corny

The kicks are very average from McGrath but they're coughing up errors.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

Chiefs need to get their heads settled, a bit of grounding needed. If not we'll keep taking these errors!

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,806 ✭✭✭corny

A mile offside tackling Fardy there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,225 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    44 phases.

    That was epic.

Another great effort there, phase after phase and they could not hold out

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Jack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Awful stuff to watch, but great to beat Exeter at their own game.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,110 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

    That’s the game.

    Leinster forwards will sleep tonight.

Jesus absolutely exhausting stuff. Never seen the entire squad that ragged with exhaustion.

Unreal stuff. Very different to La Rochelle game, but highly impressive in a different way.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

    Now concentrate lads.

This has been a good learning game for Conan.

He was the one forward that was struggling to make or even hold ground in contact but has varied it up and become more effective as the game has evolved. Good to see him have that variety.

Last two visits to their 22, 32 phases followed by 44 phases. 10 points. So pleasing, Leocaster will be thrilled. Great play from McGrath and the pack.

Boom what a score great response after the first 20 mins in the second half

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,599 ✭✭✭✭CIARAN_BOYLE

If we can win and deny Exeter the losing bonus point it will be an incredible result.

This second half we are relying on our pack so much.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,110 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

Tracey hasn’t thrown a straight line out all night.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,812 ✭✭✭thelad95

Two more tries in 7 minutes for the bonus?

What a turnover from SOB. There were 3 or 4 trying to get him off it.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,967 ✭✭✭Synode

Ferg would have been away there

His throwing is poor in general. Larmour on, finally might see some #Leinstertainment!

Cullen really needs to think about his wing options for next week. Although a win by any means probably enough if Leinster close out this win.
