    Hi guys ,

I interested in the Panasonic PMX82
    http://www.richersounds.ie/p-202776-sapmx82.aspx

What speakers would you recommend for this? Its for a living room , standmount probably suit best.
Its for my Dad who loves his classical music. (mostly listening from CD).
Budget is 280 euro Max .
Wharfdale Diamond 9.0, or Mordaunt Short M10 , Q acoustics would suit the room if it can drive them

Also , I'd like to run the SKY HD box though the system , but thats only optical out. Any options here ? (I do have a small DAC I could donate to the system)

    Cheers

    Anthony

    Hi Anthony.

You could pair the Pioneer up with any of those speaker mention but the best would be the Q Acoustics,.
    PMX82 priced at £149.00
    Q Acoustics 3010 priced at £99.00
    Delivery would be £6.99

As the pioneer has no optical connections you could use your own DAC if it has optical in and phono outs?

You could also you the CYP Digital to analogue converter priced at £37.95
    http://www.richersounds.ie/p-12519-aud3-192.aspx

    Let me know your thoughts.

    Hi Kenny ,

I'm happy to go ahead with that , though I just hit my budget without taking into account I need speaker wire!.
Can you quote me a decent budget speaker wire (total 8m ) along with the PMX82 and the Q Acoustics 3010 (in Walnut)

I will use my own DAC.
Assuming I order tomorrow (Wednesday) when could I expect delivery? (Leinster)

    Thanks
