Is anybody using eir TV & Broadband in Knocknacarra?

I believe there is a fiber service in my area but what are people's experience with eir? Is the TV reliable and broadband equipment and speed adequate for everyday use, including Netflix etc.

I'm considering a switch to them from Virgin based on a current offer but I've heard their customer service is poor and that their service can be unreliable but I'd rather know from real experience in the area if possible.
