De La Hoya was worse. Coked off his nut on the broadcast for the Mir Steve Cunningham bout. Embarrasing.

Dillashaw out of his fight due to a cut he got in training, Waterston fight bumped to main event. Was really looking forward to that fight.

Would like it moved to the June 12th card if possible.

Cerrone v Diego also off the Dilashaw card, it was probably going to be rubbish but was looking forward to it nonetheless.

He seems to have left the UFC

That BKFC fella will likely sign him, the others would hopefully have more sense.

    What did Sanchez post?

“Free at last” and tagged all the other promotions.

He was released for medical reasons.
Fabia (the creepy side kick) requested all of Diego’s medical records right back to TUF. That’s a bit odd, so some UFC guy called and had a conversation, during which Fabia mentioned long and short term health issues that Diego may have suffer. Red flag obviously.

The ufc contact Diego, ask is he ok. His lawyer responds looking for clarity. They ask outright if Diego was suffering from any issues. The lawyer said Diego can’t comment as he’s not a neurologist.

Sounds like there’s definitely something up. Abd they wanted to keeping some sort of legal option open. Hopefully he doesn’t fight anywhere else.

It's all very said Fabia is a total chancer,
Came across Diego on a treadmill in the gym one day , Diego was going through his divorce and had nobody to talk to and Fabia hit the jackpot,

Sure he proclaims he's been an natural healer since the age off 9 , something to do with saving his granddad form a heart attack ,He's like a cult leader ,

He’s truest led an amazing life, a successful athlete, who took his body to the limit, not mention of what sport that was in.
He has an innate understanding of the human body, experience in defense and ,human rights, martial arts, the military fields, breathing, walking and chewing gum while listening to music..

He’s found wisdom from elders in the depths of forests, jungles, and deserts. he learned universal, ancient concepts.

He is absolutely a cult leader. Poor Diego is sucked in.

The fact that Fabias IG is called School of Self Awareness is the biggest irony of all. The dude is a grade A charlatan, and it looks like he applied his patented death touch to Diegos career

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,081 ✭✭✭Fromvert

Diego lost a lot of money before by being scammed. Wouldn't shock me if this clear chancer targeted him.

Diego is going to be another fighter added to the growing list of fighters left with next to nothing and/or no direction after fighting.

That video is absolutely painful to watch. Diego just standing there like a bullied child whose dad is speaking on his behalf. The absolute irony of Fabia whining about peoples perception of him and then they go and upload that cringe-fest to the web?

Dana calling it as it is.
“I have an incredible, amazing relationship with Diego, and I like him very much, and I hope he is OK,” White said. “One of the sad things that happens, not just in fighting but in sports, and I want you to quote me on this, are these creepy weirdos who come from God knows where and leech onto fighters or athletes. They never do any good for them.

“Somehow, this creep got into Diego’s life and has been controlling him. You saw the video of him chasing guys in the octagon with a knife. How f*cking nuts is that? He goes to the commission and tells them that he’s taught Diego this death touch. It goes on and on with this guy. He goes into the (fighter-broadcaster) production meeting and tells the commentators what they should be saying? The guy is batsh*t nuts. He worked his way into Diego’s life and has gotten control over him. I just want the best for Diego.”

This video is also painful to watch. Here Diego gives his side on the Anthony Smith MMA Today.

I watched the whole thing this morning and the end where Diego starts to cry is upsetting to watch.

This just gets sadder and sadder.

    Poor Diego.

Here he is "training" with Fabia

Diego said Fabia tapped him in 40 seconds W when they rolled. And added that even Marcelo couldn’t do that.
The chap is suffering from a strange combination of CTE and Stockholm syndrome.

Donald Cerrone agreed that Fabia likely tapped Diego. But a different kind of tapping...

    i-wanna-tap.jpg

The reddit rabbit hole on Fabia is insane.

Being signed to the UFC as a 3-1 Pro is pretty lucky imo.

Anyone seen there a numerous video's floating around youtube that reckon the whole Colby & Masvidal beef is a work w& they are still best mates,
One of the them was great and shows the evolution of the "beef " & you can see how they played with it & didn't think it would work but when the media picked up on it they ran with it ,

People even reckon in a recent Masvidal skype interview with Helwani that Colby was in the room with Masvidal , Even recently Masvidal was pictured with Trump who happens to also have the Colby connection ,

We all know Colby gimmick is just that there's plenty of footage of him being super nice to fans and people ,

Doing your groin in while walking on a treadmill is a serious sign of over training. It's something that kills me with MMA fighters, it's all 'nobody trains harder than me' then they get a big fight, or signed to a new promotion, and they try up their training schedule again, extra miles, extra rounds, harder rounds, s&c, 3 sessions a day, 6 days a week.

All with no communication between their different coachs. So they had a tough wrestling session in the am, then they go off to their specialized boxing coach for the mid afternoon session who pushes them through a gruelling workout, and then they have their 10km run that evening and they feel like they have to do it, just because it is on their timetable. Next morning it's leg day on their strength and conditioning, then into some MMA drilling, and the cycle continues.

The body can only take so much.

lots of cool fights announced recently.

Initially thought Walker would be murdered, but Santos was abysmal last fight so could be a lot of fun.

Interesting to see Costa return after getting demolished by Izzy.

Till v Brunson the probable main event if it happens in the UK. Another younger opponent for Brunson to beat.:p
