What a weird thing to do. Majority of comments defending him saying he is given money to homeless and complainers are being too sensitive but he's still paying homeless people to entertain him.

I would laugh my hole off if Henry popped.

Also, Ariel Vs Ali co-main 229

You’d think Ali would have the general cop on to keep Ariel onside.

With Ali’s track record, the last thing he wants or needs is giving Ariel a bee in his bonnet because we all know what he’s like when he gets going.

I'd say Ariel happy enough. All just posturing and drives up his clicks and likes and retweets, which are more important than ever now he's at ESPN.

This can't be news that Khabib is not a great person morally.

This interim belt stuff has to stop. Cringey af seen Colby parading it on the MMA hour and saying "he's the real champ"
Just call it a no 1 contender spot and no belt. Woodley is the undisputed champ of that division.

Craig White, who understandably got dismantled by Magny on short notice for his UFC debut, has just been matched up with Diego Sanchez.

    What the actual fúck?

That's a good fight for him imo. The ghost of Diego sanchez is a very beatable fighter.

Karim is great for sports and politics mixing news, his timeline throws up some interesting articles/news. He's wrote about Khabib's previous backer, linked below that tweet.

Wow. His ligaments obviously weren't "torn off the bone" then .

Unless he waits for the Khabib v McGregor winner then Pettis for me. Would be a great matchup

    Suga Sean on 229.

    Presuming against Perez?

Tore off the bone is just a dramatic way of saying ruptured ligaments.
Hard to know how severe it was, but looking at the post surgery pic of his knee, they open him right up to repair it.

****. That looks nasty alright. When was that pic taken? 4 months out for ruptured ACL is miraculous.

Funnily enough, that picture was exactly 4 months ago today.
It was LCL not ACL. So there's a shorter recover time afaik.

    A quick google says up;
Recovery times for grade 3 sprains depend entirely on the surgical procedure that is performed, but can range from three to nine months.

When you're a pro-athlete who has the time and money to focus on rehab, I'm not surprised it towards the shorter end of the scale. Will probably be 8 months from the injury by the time he walks to the cage

Why would coming off a loss be relevant?
We're talking about a regular match up, not a title fight

Are you trying to tell me that the vast majority of fights aren't still both fighters coming off a win?

Still? That hasn't been the case since they stopped one night tournaments.

At any given time, half the established roster is coming off a loss. If winners v winner fights were the majority. They'd quickly run out of available fighters pretty quickly.
Winner vrs Loser is extremely common. In the next event, every fight on the main card involves at least one guy coming off a loss.
