    Yes, it’s amazing how long this matter is stuck in the vacum.

    I can see the opening scene now.

    I presume the monies paid were for advertising rights etc. He would do media publicity, appear in adverts, give conferences etc. Presumably he was always going to start the Giro before this occurred so they were not paying him to show up.

    So the saga is finally over and Chris Froome has been cleared. I’m sure he will be reinstated into the TDF now. What a farce.

    Long time cyclist first time poster....
    This whole administration of cycling reminds me of sleeping with the woman you love knowing she's cheating on you... You just always wish it could be different...
    Its Lance and US Postal all over again. I'd love to know who got paid for what and how much. Sepp Blatter would be less corrupt
