Anyone have ant idea why Froome won't sit on someone's wheel on a climb, it is incredibly weird to watch. There is no reason, bar one or two out there theories, why a pro rider would sit that far back from someone they are following up a climb.

Only caught the end of what Wiggins said on ITV earlier which led me to believe there might have been something interesting said before hand. Cycling news had a piece on it

He can't see them. He's staring down so much he needs to leave enough space not to rear end the rider in front.

He doesn't like being close enough to sniff the sweaty butts of other men?

    This actually fits quite well

One of them isn't, and that is similar to the above point, he really is a very poor or very nervous bike handler. This also means that while he is getting some draft, he is using more energy than needed, and still being in the top 10 in the world. Its unprofessional and between incredible and unbelievable. The other theories are wild speculation and would not be OK here, and I am not sure if they are correct. They may be true but I am not convinced they explain his positioning.

Team Sky getting a lot of abuse on the road.

TV viewers hitting a 10 yr low. A big turnoff of TV and sponsorship may be the only cure for professional cycling.

Well if anything will hit home it will be the withdrawal or reduction in sponsorships. Might be no harm!
