Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

back about 1995 - 2000 there was a truck going over the bridge outside the pub and had a lifting arm sticking out which swept a bunch of people off and sadly killed a few, strange thing is, my dad just asked me if I remembered it, I do but it's vague.

Does anyone else remember this, maybe even have a link to prove it?

    thanks guys

I was talking to a man while waiting for a Dart at Malahide station. He told me that a few years back a woman was decapitated by a train there because she did not stay behind the yellow line. I don't know if it is true.

I also have a vague idea of a very similar accident OP, but no clue about any details or if it's real or not

I was wondering if it was some rumor that spread 'cause I can't find a thing about it?

Try posing on the Clare and Limerick forums. Should get a far better response.
Personally, I don't recall such an incident.
