Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The vast majority of people are looking at the dollar equivalent value, not the NANO/BTC rate.

Anyone who looks at it that way shouldn't be trading in these market as they have no clue what they are doing.

    Exactly - they're not trading. They're HODLing.

I mean either or. The point stands regardless of what you are doing including hodling. It is a retarded concept made up to sell newbies on ways to lose incredible amounts of money during crashes. At the moment BTC is moving above $10k and Nano is now 84k. Most people will look at the $ and think oh it is only down x amount over the last few days when the reality is far different. That reality only comes into focus when BTC crashes. You need to look at the Satoshi number full stop.

So what, you knew and forecast this big BTC rebound, yeah?

No, what has that got to do with anything? I haven't got a crystal ball and had no clue what it was going to do. I did the exact same as I am going to do with Nano. Wait for it to show real signs of recovery and take a position. I am still incredibly wary of a BTC correction/crash as there is huge resistance around the 11.5-12k mark.

Seems to be having a positive effect on the price.

No effect on the price at all. Just slightly up, due to bitcoin rising. But the hack and the developers indifference to retrieving the lost funds has signaled its end.
This has had its day and will fall lower down the list from now on

Why should the developers do anything else but be indiferent.

Does the Central Bank help out when a business is stolen from when it's fiat currencies.

Would you expect Bitcoin to care if they happened to steal bitcoin instead of nano.

Sat price is up from 83k --> 91k. Can you explain what that has to do with BTC's price increase other than it increases the sat value.

    $3

    $3
    Its already way over $3..
He said offload, not what you purchased at??

I have no problem with the price right now (given recent events outside Nano's control) but expect it to be $50+ by year end. Look at the Crypto Cafe thread, look at the times to confirm and costs of the other currencies. This literally is so much better that its hard to visualise. I suspect its faster than Visa Paywave too (was counting how long from holding card to terminal it actually is to complete Auth, its not fast), which none of the rest of the crypto players can claim. And it got the perfect FREE trifecta, both to the consumer, business and environment ffs!

It was a joke. If you have read his previous posts in this forum. He isn't really someone worth engaging with.

I don't believe a lot of whats said about Raiblocks, I suspect its flawed and currently its untested. This coin was less than 23 cent 2 months ago and by the looks of the chart I'd say it has a better chance of returning to that than go to $50

Francesco Firano Interview on the stolen millions

...some piece of work this guy!!
All those who threaten me with death, could they do it neatly under this tweet? It starts to get tiresome looking in all my posts
"We have filed a further complaint about aggravated defamation in the press (as the newspapers all over the world have reported their defamatory statements) against the developers of Nano."
No, it's impossible to refund the stolen amount.

And the Development team have no fault in this?
I think the Devs are actually hiding something, and its more than a coincidence that the hack took place around the time of their software upgrade. Worse still is the Devs cannot even rely on the block explorer. It should have been easy to follow that amount of coins

Yea, Im not taking sides and on record expressing my concerns about the devs and the project as a whole.

One things for sure and that is both sides have left a lot to be desired and utterly unprofessional to date.

    FOMO :pac:

It is gonna take a serious push to get above that level as it looks like a shed load of people are willing to dump the XRB bag at that price point. A 20 BTC buy wall was put up and it was sold into for the lot in minutes.

Why dont you just tweet/email them and get actual data? They aren't some shady weirdos with fake internet handles like many Crypto dev's, they are real people with faces and names. No reason to just randomly post FUD when you can actually dig into it to get facts. If you wanted..

FYI the ticker for NANO has just changed from XRB to NANO.

The point is the facts are being Muddy on both sides,
FUD is not posted it is what people who are kept in the dark about whats going on feel.
If you wanted... you could have researched their Block explorer to see does it really work, why does it have so many anomalies?
Why does the network keep going down. Why can't they do an upgrade without people getting robbed.
Get back to me when those real people have answered your email

Reddit says he didnt show up for the Q&A ...this fella is a ball and chain around this projects neck.

besides it was to be held on Telegram (yuck!) I really don't see the appeal of Telegram for group discussions - I tend to swerve it these days.

Its like a noisy room of screaming kids posting porn gifs whilst spamming.

Nano/Raiblocks was 20c in December, 2 months ago.
A lot of people bought the absolute top of all tops with this coin and now see a bit of a retrace, don't blame the coin for a poor investment choice.

$170m had been stolen and was most likely part of it was being dumped on the market during the Binance launch. It doesn't matter how great the tech is, marketing, exchanges, etc. This was always going nowhere and for reasons no one could have actually seen.

Just my opinion, but as a long term punt, very possibly. If the technology is sound and the reasons behind its failure to capitalise are entirely surmountable, it seems like a reasonable proposition. That and the fact that is has a large if rather jaded fan base that would likely still love to see it do well. Risks are another coin with similar tech meeting the same need before nano recovers such that it no longer has an USP.

Either way I think it's an awful idea to give him anymore air Time, he really should be in jail

There seems no end to the sellers currently. Some people think that the stolen Nano is most likely already dumped but it is impossible to know. It is really hard to get rid of that many Nano very quickly without completely dumping the price. You would have to be an idiot to sell in that kind of way. It is completely plausible that the dumping was ongoing until the huge unexpected crash.

A slow bleed down exhausting buyers at every level is the way you would go about it. Not too dissimilar to what looks to be happening. If you have followed Nano since BTC started recovering the sat prices keeps moving down as BTC rises.

It is all just speculation on either side and there is no way of knowing for sure. Bomber is due to give some sort of q&a later today and I would at least wait until after that in case he drops some more revelations although at this point it is hard to see how he could do more damage.

have only been following from afar.... is bomber suspected of the theft?... why is he given any voice

Hard to know at what level Bomber was involved. We do know that he was at the very least highly negligible. He still owns an exchange that people have money on which he has said still has funds to pay non-xrb holdings so I guess people are eager to get answers to when and how that will happen. There is also quite a few people that are hurting from leaving XRB on BitGrail and are happy to support the narrative it was in someway a fault with XRB. No evidence currently supports that being case.

am I on my own thinking it has another double % drop before it consolidates and recovers, but all over a few months whilst the FUD and bad news gets dealt with properly.

Would be nice for the team to have some announcements to help things along, but the elephant in the room is the 17mil stolen coins out there.

btw I am going to keep posting such things as anything I say or believe will happen then the polar opposite occurs :)

At this stage my Nano investment made in early Jan has dropped to the level where I've just mentally written it off. No point in selling at a big loss now. If it recovers great, if not then I'll just put it down to bad luck and move on.

Yea pretty much in the same boat.

No point in me selling now tbh and chalking it down to experience.

    Hopefully not.

    Will be an expensive mistake.

I'm happy to leave it sit for several months / year or 2. Lets hope some day it reaches above .002

I still think in the end this will turn around. The only issue Nano has is that if something comes along which does everything it does, gains adoption, momentum and passes it out. The other factor is hoping the market stays strong enough for it to flourish. It was like finding gold in a sea of **** when I came across RaiBlocks.

Fingers crossed...also I hate the rebrand btw

'NANO' sounds so fecking generic in the current marketplace -' Raiblocks' gave it some uniqueness imo
