Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Fellow Binancians,

The fifth session of “Community Coin per Month” has completed. Once again, it was a success and an exhilarating experience for us all. We have weighed all factors in the voting process and also filtered for oddities.

We would like to congratulate the winner - RaiBlocks (XRB)!

As promised, XRB will be awarded with a free listing placement on Binance. The exact listing time will be announced separately.

Thank you for your patience and support!

What kind of fees are you guys paying to get in on XRB?

I was on coinbase, going to transfer 200 euro btc to kucoin...14 euro fees.

    Pretty expensive no?

I can't get second verification on gdax. Even sending eth to kucoin from coinbase I hage to wait 3 days because it won't accept my drivers licence.

Did u try do it on your phone? wait for the failure email from Coinbase and use the 'retry' button within that mail

Yes I've tried it all several times, gdax, coinbase app, coinbase desktop, flash and no flash.

Just picked up 25 of these for 1/2 and ETH.

Hoping when it comes on Binance it will pick up. White paper and tech looks to be leaps and bounds ahead of everyone.

Exchanges seem to be all over the place pairing XRB.
    0.001756 on Bit-Z
    0.00202 on Kucoin
    0.0018799 on Bit Grail

Every now and again you see significant correction on an exchange that you don't see see on others as if they are trying to realign again. Maybe something to do with the underlying technical differences. Could hold up the move to Binance.

Isn't the pricing differences due to the fees each exchange charges for buying and selling?

No. The quoted price vs BTC does not include fees.

No I get that, I mean if you go to buy, the fee to buy or sell will bring it up in alignment with all the rest.
So I could conceivably have an exchange that lets you buy bitcoin at 50% less the Market value but the transaction fee is 50%

How do I calculate the euro charge an exchange is charging, hard to do calculations per btc/eth

I imagine an online converter would do that for you

This thread would be better than asking a general question in a specific coin thread.

LOL what a load of piffle.

In other words, "our protocol is broken and it's up to the exchange to sort it out".

Let's see 7K tps miracles demonstrated in the real world after the concurrency issues are solved, not in simulations :D

    https://www.reddit.com/r/raiblocks/comments/7phxm1/_/

Supposedly the amount of electricity required to make 1.35m Raiblock transactions = 1BTC transaction.

Also a Raiblock transaction is 43x more efficient than a Visa transaction.

Is this too good to be true?

Really is worrying the amount its decreased this week.
Surely with everyone holding and not selling the price should be going up?

Lots of red on coinmarket at the moment, it's not just Raiblocks. If you believe in the tech then you have to learn to hodl. This should pick up again as the technology in this coin is revolutionary. I just think most Altcoins have gotten a bit ahead of themselves pricewise for now

Yeah, i know the done thing is on hodl (im not that new to crypto)
Sometimes the tech isnt the only thing that makes a product successful. The zune was a nifty bit of kits but apple marketing killed that fairly rapidly. With iota and now pascal offering a similar service to raiblocks it might not be such a bright future for raiblocks

Have to admit I sold all my Raiblocks and bought NEO.
Got out at the perfect time. Just before it went under .002.

But I do plan to buy back to Rai Soon before it goes high again.

All my NEO gains being wiped out by the drop in XRB :(

Price drop or not I'm holding. The tech is too good to ignore imo and unlike Iota it's already working. Just wait till it's on binance and we'll see what happens.

So I flipped my Raiblocks for Neo. Got a nice 30% increase today, sold at peak and went back to Rai.

All in all, gained a nice chunk with Rai falling so much. Hopefully won’t be too long before it goes live on Binance.

  • Moderators, Motoring & Transport Moderators, Music Moderators Posts: 12,778 Mod ✭✭✭✭Zascar

NEO and XRB are my biggest holdings. XRB has been pretty bad over the last few days but I'm only down about 10% which is not too bad considering - only NEO is keeping it from being a massacre. I still 100% believe in the tech so I'm hodling long term on both.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,466 ✭✭✭Tinder Surprise

Any idea or news why not on Binance yet?

  • Moderators, Motoring & Transport Moderators, Music Moderators Posts: 12,778 Mod ✭✭✭✭Zascar

I think they are doing huge loads of testing to make sure it will work and not fall over, they had some problems on other exchanges. Something to do with nodes, maybe someone else can explain fully. Hopefully it will be worth the wait.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 686 ✭✭✭DVD-Lots

Yeah they are making sure they don't drop the ball on Binance so are testing it (Nodes) thoroughly before going live again. I read that on those new shouty look at me I'm getting a lambo to the moon Discordy Telegram app yokes. Kids today
